I am sure that it was Toops who passed the ball to an injured at the time Latrell.
Fergo is pretty crap but dont let an agenda cloud your memory.

I remember that as well and was also at that game - I blew up deluxe at Ferguson at the time, because he set up young Latrell to get smashed in order to save himself a little hard work. Just not acceptable from a senior player to be dumping a rookie in it as he did. Not for the first time since he's been at the Chooks either - if he can avoid the hard work he will.

He rarely ever plays in that position.
But when he does, he's a smash hit.
DT;
BLAKE Ferguson may have snatched Josh Mansour’s wing spot but the Kangaroos flanker is doing his bit to try to repay his injured teammate on and off the field.
The two are roommates and Mansour watched on as Ferguson produced a breakthrough performance on the representative arena, winning man of the match honours in Australia’s 14-8 win against New Zealand on Sunday.

He was so bad last season he got switched to wing. And he was still terrible.

Just needs a bit off time off in order for his groin to settle down...

What's happening with the salary cap? We could well be over if we aren't careful. As I understand it, they NRL has low balled the offer and not many are expecting much of an increase.
In that regard maybe Widdop would be a good option? Ticks quite a few boxes, will be a bit cheaper than most others, and has played a fair bit of fullback. $1.2m is crazy money.
