Back on Teddy, I am very concerned the Dogs will get him.

I'm of the belief he'll be at the chooks. I know he met with Hasler before we re-ignited our interest, but us entering the fold changed the landscape. Guess we wait and see.

SKD does well enough in defence...at no 4.

I found this article for you...and everyone else of course.

As for Gordon, I'm saying that he is still a safe player. He's good in defense. Good with taking bombs. Good in attack, without being fantastic. On the right we have 2 players who can't defend or are mistake ridden. Fergo is not what he was back in the Raiders day, especially when he tore through us one Monday night...or maybe it was a Saturday night. Back then he was Bill Mullins bulky with speed and strength...now he's lean and not very mean. Skd is SKD... Gordon could be on the right for any of those now if Tedesco was here and we'd be very happy. In fact Gordon could do a Mullins jnr for us.

Why Sydney Roosters may have the edge in signing Wests Tigers' superstar James Tedesco

When the Roosters talk turkey with James Tedesco, they will have two things in their favour: the Tigers fullback grew up a Roosters fan and the club has previously worked with "football whisperer" Joe Wehbe.
It is increasingly likely Tedesco will be the latest member of the Tigers' so-called "big four" to walk out on the joint-venture outfit after receiving interest from Canterbury and the tricolours. The Bulldogs are also keen on Aaron Woods, raising the prospect of Luke Brooks being the only member of the quartet to stay put after Mitchell Moses signed with Parramatta during the week.
While he grew up in Magpies territory, Tedesco supported the Roosters in his teens.
"I was a Roosters fan because our Camden jerseys were red, white and blue, exactly the same strip as the Roosters," Tedesco told this column last year.

"I always went for them as a young kid and was a pretty passionate supporter. My favourite player was Brad Fittler, and I liked Craig Wing."
The Roosters very nearly snared Tedesco in his teens. Tedesco wasn't considered among the best 40 players of his age group in the Campbelltown region. Fearing he would be overlooked for Wests, he made the commute from Menangle to the eastern suburbs to try out for the Roosters' Harold Matthews side. The Roosters liked what they saw, but Wests belatedly came to the party and gave him a start
The clubs courting Tedesco and Woods would have noticed how close the pair are to Wehbe. The Tigers tried to curry their favour by seeking to give Wehbe and massage therapist Anthony Carbone staff jobs. However, when that fell over it all but ended the chances of the big four remaining together.
Perhaps Woods and Tedesco's suitors may see the benefit of getting Wehbe on board as a sweetener.
Roosters chairman Nick Politis is refusing to deal with Tedesco's manager, Isaac Moses, after another of his clients, Mitchell Moses, reneged on a deal to head to Bondi Junction. Anthony Minichiello has been acting as an intermediary between the parties in a bid to get the deal done.
Tedesco revealed Minichiello – whom he knows from their time together with the Azzurri – had previously tried to bring him to the Roosters.
"I'm close to him; he was trying to get me over there," Tedesco said last year. "He wanted me to take his spot when he retired. It wasn't to be.
"He wanted to put in a good word."
Minichiello is now doing so again.
When the Roosters talk turkey with James Tedesco, they will have two things in their favour: the Tigers fullback grew up a Roosters fan and the club has ...

I thought Fergo was going to be better at wing until I saw him pass the ball to a 18yr old rookie fullback to take the ball up when we were smashed by Melbourne last season. Fergo goes walkabout in the centres and into dream time on the wing.Fergo falls into my category of one of many overpaid underperforming signings by the club. A complete user.

I am sure that it was Toops who passed the ball to an injured at the time Latrell.

Fergo is pretty crap but dont let an agenda cloud your memory.

I reckon it's critical we keep Flash.

Professional, solid, dependable, experienced. Traits we desperately need.

For me, Fergo and SKD are done - i'll be sad to see SKD go, but it's time. Fergo - meh...i never really wanted us to sign him in the first place, and the value he provides is no where near what we are paying him.

I'd like to see this backline (assuming rumours are correct) moving forward:

                  1 Tedesco
                  2 Toupo
                  3 Mitchell
                  4 Manu
                  5 Gordon

I agree it was very poor form a decision that well and truly backfired on the club, every club Maloney goes to become contenders..How the club didn't see this is beyond me.

Geez interesting perspective Steakface. I reckon Gordon is done. He is busted. The guy can't kick and can barely run. Yes he has been reliable at the back but I think he is on borrowed time. If he is no longer a gun goalkicker I don't see the point of him being in the team.

Manu makes Fergo look rock solid in defense! Manu will need to improve enormously to be a solid FG player

                            I loved Fergo in 2015.

He has hit the skids (parden the pun) big time since then.

That's the year he was on a 1 year contract and had to prove himself. Has been on a downhill slide since, or maybe the comfort zone would be more appropriate. Only plays well when wearing either a NSW or Aus jersey and that's probably due to the calibre of players around him.

As for Tedesco, not sure on whether buying him is a good move, given the price. His track record with injuries really concerns me. Mind you, if it means we can shift some of our underwhelming performers, including Ferguson, I can probably live with it.
Supporting the RW&B, through good times and bad times.

Nah Latrell was injured and wanted to pass to Tupou and Toops must have been in la la land because he didn't even look like taking the ball off his hands.

I don't remember the Fergo incident.
