      Ben Cousins mach 2?!?

Maaan... cousins is a violent ice addict with underworld connections, who is beyond farked in the head. I'm amazed he was able to even function at such an elite level!!! I know 22 y/o ice addicts who look 90 years old.

Carney just drinks too much and does stupid shyte but he never hurts anybody or does hard drugs. Worst he's done is some weird joke where he pretended to drink his own p!ss. That was deemed to be unfair dismissal (or something along those lines). We only booted him because he had a beer with FPN and Pyles. Aside from his rampage in Goulbs he's done very little other than hit the p!ss... and he plays better while drunk so that's not necessarily a bad thing!

PS - WTF does this have to do with Tedesco or the Roosters? lol

C'mon mate. We didn't just boot Carney coz he got on the piss with FPN and Pyles. That was the last straw. One of several off field indiscretions and the Roosters had had enough. I know he is not violent but he is a massive wanker. I hope the NRL keep him out because it doesn't matter which club he goes to, he will Fark up again. He is too brainless not to.

The Roosters caved in to the relentless pressure from Rothfield and the Telegraph.

Rothfield was one of the main reasons he ended up at the Sharks.

          Thankfully it backfired on him.

Having a plan in place for life after Gordon's brief stay would be cool if Mitchell's future is in the centres.
Teddy on board would be apples.

            Roger who?

I guess for the time being we should hope we get good value outta the two players it took to replace Jimmy.

On Roger, I am hearing rumblings that he isn't that happy with his choice.

Tough luck - that's the choice he made. He can either deal with it or investigate other options - and I doubt the Roosters would be one of them as we simply couldn't afford him.

He had the opportunity to stick solid with the Chooks and didn't take it up. Hopefully lesson learned - sometimes it's better the devil you know ...

it would have been a tuff decision to make with where to play Latrell if we still had rts.

If roger gets back to the form he had with us I'd take him back in a heartbeat. His passing game was developing very nicely. I feel that's still along way off with latrell. Latrell would be unstoppable in the centres. Teddy is an absolute beast.. But that last year of Rogers was something else.

He certainly was awesome in 2015... in attack.

The less said about some of his defensive decisions the better.

Also he may never be the same player after his ACL. Given the way he plays he's one more ACL from being a broken down donkey.

No thanks to a return, ever.

                            Agree 100%.
                            No to turncoat Roger.
Teddy is a more complete player in attack and defence.
                            Signing him would be Fittleresque.
What Teddy has done in a shit team like the Tigers Roger would not have been able to do.
Imagine if Teddy was in our 2015 team and played to the same plan Trent had for Roger?
Roger's defensive efforts in 2015 when the season was on the line were atrocious but I put that down to still learning the trade.

To answer Roosterproud's question if we had RTS what would we do with Latrell easy answer. Latrell would have played in the centres until Roger moved to 5/8 from 2019 on which would have probably been the plan.

I don't get the Roger-bashing. I don't bear him any ill-will. I blame us entirely for losing him.

                              It's no Wayne Bennett situation.

On that, isn't it fun to see all the journos finally turn on Bennett.

I don't bear Roger any ill-will - he went to another club for more money and that was his decision. But the fact is he chose money over the Chooks, who I'm sure would have offered him decent money to stay. Roger could have been like JWH, SKD, JuJu, Aubs etc who have all sacrificed financially over the years to stay at the club where they feel the belong.

As for Wayne Bennett, he put some offside when he chose to coach England and the sour grapes about not getting the Aus job, but the Pandora's box was prised opened once it was in the public domain that he had left his wife and family for another (younger) woman. The 'ultimate family man' he was no more, and other cracks began to surface.
