Starting supporting Roosters in 1979 when my best mate did ( was 10). Grew up in Blacktown. He then changed to Westerns Suburbs. I stuck solid and have never faltered. My 8 year old boy blends red, white and blue and my 5 year old girl is pretty passionate too much to the bemusement of my Bulldogs loving MIL. Wife side are Bulldogs. Wife doesn't care too much though.

Born and raised in the eastern suburbs, my Father is a Roosters supporter as is his Father before him so it stood to reason I would follow in this great tradition.

First time I saw the Legend Dave Brown play and break all the Records in 1935 ... I was hooked and been supporting Easts ever since ... 😉

Always a Rooster since 1975. Born in Bankstown but jumped on the Red, White & Blues that year.

Actually remember not watching '75 GF on TV, but instead playing outside with the radio on mimicking all of the Roosters tries scored.

First Roosters jumper had No. 5 on it - Bill Mullins.

I didn't get the 1980 GF. Wanted to go desperately but remember being "grounded" at the time for being naughty. I can recall being devastated at this, but it may have been just as well with how that match turned out.

Then the tough period started mid 80's, '87 being an exception. At this stage I was not living in Sydney any more but various places in country NSW. Made it to at least 2 or 3 games in '87. Vs Manly twice, firstly at Henson Park for a famous victory and then the semi at the SCG for one of the toughest league games I ever saw. That match stuffed us for the follow up against Canberra the following week (when Meninga buried Dave Trewhella into the SCG).

It was then very tough through til the late 90s. I've never wavered about following them - though they've give good reason plenty of times and again most recently.

I've travelled great distances and spent a lot of money following this Club but I don't regret any of it.

Didn't get to the 2000 or 2002 GFs unfortunately. Was there though in 2003, 2004, 2010 and then 2013. It was tough seeing 3 GF losses.

But the wait was worth it. At 18 - 8 down I almost resigned to never witnessing a GF live. But then the comeback. One of the greatest feelings ever.

I remember driving back up the Pacific Highway after the win with the family in the car, the roosters flag flying out the window and getting plenty of supporting hoots on the way home.

Great memories. I've seen my team win a GF in the flesh. Plenty of fans can't say that.

I'll never change. Even if the Roosters die, I'll never follow another team.

Grew up in Paddington about 100 metres away from the old Sports Ground, father was a Roosters supporter so spent many a winters day on the Sports Ground hill when I was growing up, at that time I was more interested in sliding down the back of the hill on a cardboard box than watching the football, also one my school mates was the son of Roosters player Geoff Chambers who played for East 1967-69 . Loved growing up in Paddington and hated when my parents sold up and moved to Kingsford.

Always been a Rooster. My older brother had one of those Big League posters. It had Billy Smith on one side, and I think it may have been Ian Schubert on the other half. He was a Dragoons supporter, so of course I went for the Chooks. It just happened to 1975 as well!

I was a Raiders supporter until Carney not the dwarf one joined the Roosters. I was 12 at the time. I have stayed with the red white and blue ever since.

As a kid I remember we used to call him "Auntie" Beetson , after Auntie Jack if anyone remembers that show.
