Not really Matulino is 193 centimetres tall Ive just done a quick check i am much shorter yet when I have had one foot on line Ive measured i can stretch my front leg close to 1.5 metres As Matulino is taller younger and i would say more flexible than me he would be able to have one foot on the line and extend his other leg even further forward I then followed up by taking off moving forward with my back leg and measured this to me moving forward 3metres with one step again Matulino is quite a bit taller than me so he wilk move even further forward than i was capable of with this on mind it appears as though Matulino is onside

I'll go further. There is a bad smell about the NRL and has been for a while.
Unlike other sports, the influence of referees on results is significantly greater. When you mix sponsorship of the sport with betting agencies and it is a disaster brewing.

The NRL needs transparency to consistently demonstrate to fans it is clean. For mine, they go out of their way to create an environment where Ref's cannot be challenged. It smells, they know it smells and the smell is getting worse and they won't act. If I were in charge, I'd empower the "integrity unit" to review every match from players, coaches and officials to sniff for any hint of poor hygiene.

Given that there is currently an investigation into match fixing in the NRL, you'd think the powers that be would be keen to show that there is no bias or undue influence on results from the match officials. Would be nice to see Cummins, Maxwell and Greenberg get nailed and end up in the slammer. I can't imagine the betting agencies will be happy about poor refereeing.

lol Im just stating the rulrs and just backing up my initial claims with some facts which I tested in response to those who think Matulino had to use execeptional speed to get to where he did in the picture When he didnt I have expressed one or two things that i have issues with on regards the the referees At one stage in the 2nd half the warriors through about 3 forward passes which wete not pulled back whilst ours were

There is no way he could move forward 3 metres with one step and maintain any sort of speed.

I think we also need to realise that we hardly look at these through complete unbiased eyes no matter what we may think.
Its it as simple as the playing style clashes with the reffing style. Probably not, but I agree with your points.

On that photo its a litte too late. Its not conclusive that the players are offside. The players can move as soon as the ball gets behind the foot that is playing it

We need to accept that this year is a mess though.

What defender pushes off the line but doesn't look to maintain line speed? There is no way Matulino could cover 3 metres in a single step while maintaining speed.
