He's not really getting a fair shake at showing his true wares on the end of our shoddy attack either.

We don't need him at easts though. SKD and Toops will do just fine with Ferguson and Elliott in the centres
Fergo is not a good centre IMO.
He should be on the wing and SKD in the centres....no4.

Spot on. He cant catch. Dreadful effort against the titans.
Promote Omar, at least he can catch.

How can he be a depth player when his play is very shallow?

I think he is behind SKD, Toops and Elliott for a wing spot. But the wingers are the least of our problems at the moment. We are pedestrian in attack with zero creativity. We really miss Maloney and Jennings.

I reckon it's a poisoned chalice to be partnered with Fergo in 2016. Everyone who plays outside the bloke disappoints, and I suspect that Fergo is the heart of the problem.

I'm prepared to keep the faith in the young pom - sure he had an off night on Monday night but he was in very good company. At least Joe had inexperience as an excuse, which is more than can be said for many others who played no better.

Joe was signed for 3 years on the basis that it might take him 12 months to get to NRL level, and it's only injuries that have him in the top 17. Not sure what Elliot has done wrong?

My preferred line up would be if the halves had remained settled. i would continue to take a punt on the young fellow considering where we are at this season.

Left side Burgess - Matterson - Cordner Left second row

Right side Ferguson - Kenny - Dowall - Aubusson right second row

              Fullback Mitchell

Guerra rotating with Lui at lock

Agree with the comments about Elliot who has been solid to date, but this young guy Burgess is only going to be any good with a genuine ball player inside him.

After last night maybe Kyle Feldt could join Burgess... put them both in a dinghy with a litre of water between em. Useless the pair of 'em.

Spot on, he looks terrified when he's bringing the ball back. Surely SKD will be back today and this guy can go back to Wyong

He has played over 50 matches in England and has played international rugby league, he is not inexperienced at all.

Looks like Burgess will be left out this weekend.

With the games I have watched with Wyong. Elliott and Taylor should be the standby backs brought in. Taylor was playing excellent, good in defence but I have been told has left and is playing some rugby in France
