I was being sarcastic. Perhaps I should have used Moa for more affect. But o do agree about Fergos defence.

He's not really getting a fair shake at showing his true wares on the end of our shoddy attack either.

We don't need him at easts though. SKD and Toops will do just fine with Ferguson and Elliott in the centres

As you say, he has terrible hands. Obviously that's unacceptable.

He was catching those balls like he was catching a cricket ball - all fingers. He should have scored at the start of the game.

If our inside players had the skill to make room and get the ball to our wingers with space in front of them, maybe he could show us his pace and what he can do. Unfortunately our wingers just play like forwards these days taking hit ups rather than finishing off tries. Get our fast players some early ball for once. Other teams seem to be able to do it, but our players are' hogs' and only pass it when they can't do much with it. By then it is too late. Early ball ya hogs!

Burgess has hands like feet whilst Fergo has feet like hands.

They are all trying to emulate SKD by the sound to it.

Moa would be an improvement.. , Fergo's best position is @ right wing.. Skids best is @ left wing. With a back 3 consisting of Skids, Fergo and Latrell, We only need 2 solid defensive centres and a decent half.... Aubbo, Elloit for now and Without Maloney maybe Matterson is our man?

                Our attack is diabolical.

From what I understand he cost the club very little.

In a way yes to fergo at wing but still he would have to drop back on the oppositions last tackle for a bomb and bring it back something SKD has been great all year. Fergo is just a straight runner on hit ups unlike SKD with his weaving and confusing the opposition. Perhaps play SKD at centre until the oppositions last tackle and then drop back at the last for the bomb... I know all crazy shyte ideas but Trent has to sort Fergos defensive weakness somehow. We live in hope.

As for Matterson... Well only getting 10 mins at the end of the game isn't going to be able to do much. What was Trent thinking?

I was sitting in the corner with other Chooksters where he and Fergo were defending in the first half. They actually read every Titans backline play well. They were talking to each other, pointing to defenders and they stopped several moves in our corner. It really surprised me tbh.
But the two dropped bombs had him shaking his head and you could see he was deflated.

Then the second half began 😩 and from where we sat it looked like the defensive reads went to $hit

He also looks afraid of contact. He seems to submit to the defense very easily. But I'm willing to let him prove me wrong... I just hope it doesn't take long to do so lol

The kid is gutsy, but way out of his depth, surely there ae better options.
