Aiden "Che" Guerra was fantastic this morning and has proven his worth to the team after many people had doubted his contributions. I had not seen Jayden Nikorima before but I was very impressed with him and if he is playing like that to start the season then I cannot see how Mitchell Pearce can walk back in to the team if he is not sacked.

If I were Robbo I'd be dropping a backup rake from the bench and playing aubo 30 minutes second row then 10 minutes hooker whilst friend goes off then starting aubo at hooker for 10 and finishing for 30 back at second row. Gives us capacity for another forward on the bench which we will need.

It's a shame we didn't get to see the Trent Robinson interview at the end of the match with Jon Wells. Looks like he took an in-depth look at all the tries and important moments. Unfortunately when you go onto the sky sports website it says that the video can not play in our location. Any tech-savy chookpen members know how to get a look at this and could possibly post it?

I watched a Sky stream of it, definitely worth catching....Robbo's gameplans for all to see, explains the subtleties of our forwards movements when structuring a set etc etc etc - Robbo gets very excited when Nikorima's name is mentioned.

Thought Guerra, Evans & Aubbs were solid & Nikorima apart from his lack of pace looked good...
Only game 1 but worried about Fergo & Toops combination at the back...
Mitchell showed promise so wouldn't mind seeing Fergo back in the centres...Last edited by cookies; 02-20-2016, 10:51 AM.
