If this is the case, then I would take the punt and blood a couple of rookies in the side to give them experience - Mitchell and Manu.
We have nothing to lose and will reap the benefits the following year.
This year could be a case of one step backwards for 3 steps forwards!
So based on speculation and bullshit our 2016 Season is a write-off in early January?? Yes we have experienced significant losses but fark me some of you are soft, whiny children. Especially that **** that hangs in the sheds.

RTS is there too, check out photos 1 and 7. Oh and so is that w@nka teenage heart throb from Titanic, check out photo 2.

Oi and is Latrell Mitchell short or tall? He looks about 180cm in most photos. I read somewhere he's like 194cm though? Edit... photo 12 he's taller than SKD? Must just be that he's got a baby face and is hanging around tall people.

it is a long season and we will be there at the end again - Top four is still a success from there anything is possible.

Top four is not 'still a success'.

We play to win, we have built our club with that focus.

Anything other than that result is anything but a successful year.

          Enjoy smiling at rainbows champ!

I can't believe some of the comments on this thread. Copley wouldn't do up Jennings' shoe laces. He is s steady player, who won't strike fear into any opposing teams. Jennings is a match winner. Some of his tries have been breathtaking and that includes 2015. If he does go which is now almost certain, the Roosters should blow out to $11 to win the premiership.
It further emphasises that we missed a great opportunity for a golden era. Only one title in 3 years, with a superstar roster, is a tad disappointed.
I've got no idea what the club is up to. To lose 3 world class backs in 12 months is bewildering. I thought those dark days of the Roosters losing gun players and buying rubbish in return were a thing of the past.

I disagree. You can't win every year. In fact even going back to back seems close to impossible these days. Do you remember when we got the wooden spoon in 2009? Do you remember how bad we were in 2011 and 2012?

I love that we have such a good team. I love that we will win more games than we lose. I love that we will make the finals. Of course most of us crave premierships but having a decent team in the years when you don't win Premierships is awesome. I hate nothing worse than waiting each week for a shitty Roosters team to maybe get a win.

Nick has nothing under control besides his sycophants and his self appointed rooster membership who feel ingratiated into his loyalty.
                Nick buys smart people.
                Nothing more, nothing less.

So the question is, is Pete O red face worth the cash?

                Yep, he is

A left field thought, and this is wishful thinking, but perhaps Mitchell is progressing rapidly and Robbo is comfortable giving him the no.1 jersey and thus partnering Fergo with SKD/Copley in the centres.

I can dream. It's preferable to the nightmare thought of an SKD/Copley centre pairing.

                      BJ or Copley?

                      I'd go a BJ

Sucks about Jennings, but he won us a GF, the Roosters have had the best of him. Sounds like he's ready to focus on the family life out West!

I can't see the club now focussing too much on Jennings now hearing he wants out etc. I have been told that he is on the nose with the playing group and Robbo

Brisbane Broncos star Dale Copley heading to Sydney after signing Roosters deal

43 minutes ago Chris GarryExclusiveThe Courier-Mail

Dale Copley will join the Roosters for training next week.
THE Sydney Roosters have officially signed Broncos centre Dale Copley.

Copley informed teammates on Saturday morning that he was officially Sydney bound, thanking them for their friendship.
The 24-year-old leaves Brisbane after more than a decade with the club, which he began training with as a 13-year-old.
He will join the Roosters next week for training after putting pen to paper in the past 24 hours.

This means the Roosters will need to offload Michael Jennings or Shaun Kenny-Dowall, who faces court next month.
The Broncos had to shift Copley after signing James Roberts, who will play in the right centre position earmarked for Copley.

Well that truly sucks, I would love to know the reasons why he wanted out.
