I can't accept a throw away year even if we were to sign both for 2017 which would go along way to a premiership. It's not how we play and It's not how the club operates.

I can only think that its is cap pressure and the chance that we were over it in 2013, but even if we shed all our players now, couldn't our premiership still be stripped if we were over in 2013?

Nothing is making sense at the moment, except that hayne will not be at the chooks, and we are looking at a very ordinary 2016 by easts standards.

Like i said, i make no sense of losing rts, maloney, and jennings in one year. But didn't storm, get their premiership stripped from years before? Shedding players for no apparent real reason, and not replacing them with anybody of particular note worries me for some reason. And frontloading contracts doesn't make that much sense, because apart from jwh and cordner, i wouldn't rush to secure anybody else in our squad at the moment.

Jennings is gone. Those saying no are in denial. Big Chook, it has nothing to do with the SKD matter whether he goes or not. I wouldn't be surprised if Jennings is gone by tomorrow.

Not too fussed about Jennings. He hasn't played good consistent footy since 2013. It's the collective talent we've lost and the absence of any world class replacement.

But if Copley can stay fit then he's not too much a drop off from Jennings. Both he and Guerra hog too much ball between them.

We have plenty of world class players and just acquired another international and a QLD origin emerging talent.

Jennings won't be going anywhere at the very least until we know what's happening with skd.

I have an angle grinder and plenty of faith in our pack.

Evans and Napa to take their game up another notch. JWH will be fired up after missing the back end of last season. SST to continue improving and will be better off with a season under his belt. Cordner has this steely eyed focus and was immense at the back end of last season. Moa has just had a service and Guerra needs to play down the middle.Liu/Maubs our tradesmen and Freindy the glue who may work his way into the 2017 WC squad.Niko the unknown and may be the spark we need.

So much hinges on our halves combo imo who'll need to fire.

Copley is solid.

Jennings is the best centre in the game.

Without Roger and Maloney I thought we'd use our centres as the focal point of our attack. Not anymore it seems.
