Just read that there are 18 of these five day turnarounds in total scheduled for the 2016 season.

Roosters have 7 of the 18.
Manly have 5 of the 18.
The rest of the comp share the remaining 6 of the 18.

    Is this fair?

Is that really fair though? The bottom tier teams get an easier run with that system.
I have a different view that I think makes it an even fairer draw.
The teams that finish on the ladder in an odd number ie. 1,3,5,7,9 etc play each other twice throughout the next season and the teams that finish on an even number ie 2,4,6,8 etc, they play them once. That's 24 season games in total. I know certain teams want blockbuster games but this system allows for every team to be playing equal level of competition throughout the season proper. You don't have the weaker teams from the year before all benefitting from not having to play teams from the top 8 twice the next year.

        No.
It's the main point greenturd has been carping on and all...........
Funny that it's us and Manly copping the rough end of the pineapple.

There is nothing we can do about it now but it truly is the worst draw I've seen in years. We can only play who is front of us that week so I guess we have to be Zen about it and just take it one week at a time like the old cliche.

Me neither. Bookending the rounds with Souths is tradition. It dilutes the rivalry and excitement of the final round by tossing them up again at us so soon afterwards.

Not fair. In fact, outrageous. The NRL does not even attempt to hide it's bias.

Amazes me how Greenturd has a job. He is depriving a village somewhere of its idiot!

Greenturd is a Snake Oil Salesman. A classic bullshit artist who has gotten where he has purely on the strength of his ability to convince people he's clever by talking, and talking, and talking. But when you measure his actual actions and achievements it's quite clear that he's a dunce.

And he might be the new NRL CEO? Lord have mercy.

His actions during the Ben barba saga should have ruled him out of any high profile job within the nrl.

What is the club going to do about it? Nothing? At least Manly have lodged an appeal.

We also play both Canterbury and Melbourne twice within 4-5 weeks also, this is by far the worst draw I have ever seen.

Appeal won't do shit. Manly had a similar draw last year.
