The 2016 Draw

Rounds 2 and 3 we travel to a freezing cold to a hot and humid state to play within the space of 5 days!!! I would like to know the moron who worked that out....

Also the last four games are really against us as well.

Don't know if it will be freezing cold in Canberra in early March. It is a concern though that in the first 5 rounds, when the weather is warmer, that we have 3 day games and a match in Nth Qld. We could be struggling physically or it might toughen us up. Who knows.

2 games in SE QLD, but against the GC on a Monday nite and possibly the Broncos in the last round will be on a Thursday (depending on how we are going). If that's the case makes it tough to get to games for this Nth NSW family.

Otherwise I haven't looked at the draw too closely yet, so not sure how the rest of the draw stacks up. No doubt there will be feedback on here shortly about that.

I hardly think the 12th March 2nd round match in Canberra is going to be freezing cold.
What annoys me is we play Souths in R1 then R6, and the Central Coast game is against the Knights

Who would you rather play Titans twice and watch boring games or would you prefer to play one of our biggest rivals twice a year and see top class competitive footy games against genuine competition. I know which games I'd preferred to watch.

note we play the raiders sea eagles knights titans eels and tigers only once. Interesting to compare to other strong clubs to see whether there is an attempt to give some clubs an easier draw.

I cannot work out why we have to play the same team twice so close together, I am happy we play Souths twice but not just over a month apart especially so early in the season, this has always been a problem with the NRL draw.

with the roosters there is no attempt to consider player welfare or even eeze of attendance for fans, first thing they do is block out every friday night for broncos home games, then fit the rest around that and a staqck of home games for the cows and melbourne, also the stronger clubs ie roosters get to play all the strong teams twice unlike others who might need a leg up from time to time? yes i still think its a bloody conspiracy combine this with the bias from some refs and youve got a controlled result a la newscorp?

Pretty sure you will find that we play those weaker teams only once due to ladder position this year. So the better teams get the harder draw. Afl use the same system.

Our conversations re conspiracies against the Roosters will be confirmed if Maloney becomes a darling of the refs and no longer concedes 1-2 penalties per match

If they can announce the draw so far out from the season commencement then they should list the match officials for the respective games. A sure thing Cummin$ will feature prominently in 2016 and ref our first game

I feel sorry for the Bronco's.
How will they adopt to not having a 7 day turn around every week.
Have't gone through the draw fuly but looking at it the NRL don't want us to win. Who have they gifted into the top 4.
