Origin impact: (Byes: Rd 12, Rd 16.) One of the club's two byes comes in a non-Origin week meaning two tough games minus a huge contingent of their side – one a trip over to face a Warriors side in Round 15, and the Eels at Pirtek in Round 18. Both of those teams will face minimal disruption with just one incumbent Origin player apiece and few others on the radar while the Tricolours will have their depth sorely tested in those games.

I reckon we have the toughest draw - by far.

Seven 5-day turnarounds and all the best teams twice. Brutal.

But entertaining viewing as well as so many games will be blockbusters.

One thing is for certain, we're no chance of another Minor Prem which is probably a good thing!

All this bitching about the draw when we've just won the minor premiership three years in a row. You have to laugh. Spare of thought for tigers, titans, eels, knights, raiders fans etc we must look quite precious to them.

The draw should be fairer than it is.

Why should I spare a thought for all those other teams????????????

The skies not falling down is all I'm saying. We've lost maloney and shek and still have one of the best rosters in the game. We have the best coach in the game. We have the best administrators in the game. We have the best home ground in the game. Who gives a **** if we have to play some custard team twice in a year. Bring it on.

              Just annoys me.
              It's an amateur draw.
And you made it sound like we should be hobbled because we won the minor premiership.

              Game managers...
              Todd bloody Greenberg....
              Constant rule changing......
              Constant jersey changing....
Giant ugly stadiums that cost a fortune to enter....
              Golden point.....
              Russell Crowe....
              And now the draw....!!!!

              Maybe the sky is falling.

What annoys me is we play Souths in R1 then R6, and the Central Coast game is against the Knights
They never learn. I know they get a financial benefit from playing at Gosford but I already get a bad feeling about playing the Knights there.

I don't really care what the draw is but Im glad they are playing Souths on a Sunday arvo first up.

So we play all the sh*t teams once and the others twice.

                    Seems fair.

The draw that broke the camel's back.

You only have to cast your mind back to when we have played the Knights at Gosford, possibly slightly bigger crowds with about 50/50 split supporter wise but a gift 2 pts to the Knights no matter where which team is placed on the ladder, it is almost giving the Knights a home ground advantage at an away game.

The most favourable draw won't fix the problems those clubs you've listed have.Their fans know it!

Just when you thought things couldn't get any worse for the Titans, they now have the James Roberts forged signature fiasco.

Tigers, Titans, Eels, Knights are basket cases. Raiders starting to get their sh*t together.Only just. Dragons still 50/50. Their Leagues Club is a ghost town. Pokie Revenue is drying up.

No team especially the one we support should be put at a disadvantage for doing all the right things and running a professional front office.

I have no issue with the NRL's support and bail out loans of a number of clubs. I'd like all clubs bar Souffs to be viable. But i'd also like the draw to be fair!

Its not fair at all we should play the Gold Coast in all 26 rounds, definitely a conspiracy in my humble opinion, lol

Seven five day turn arounds - the most of any team.
Contrast that with the boncos who play 17 of 24 games on either the Thursday or Friday.

Not sure about manly being a shit team, with DCE, myles, tapau, walker, lyon, Stewart and the trbojevic brothers.

Also raiders in canberra is never an easy match.

My only problem with the draw is you should play everybody once first, then play the other teams again.

But while origin is still in the mix, every fan from most teams will feel dudded. Our team is still ok during origin when you compare us to cows, melb, broncos; even teams that only supply 1 or two players can be worse off than those who supply more, because usually it will be the best player from those teams that gets picked. Take farah and tedesco and woods out of tigers, and they are probably the most affected teams.

Manage your players and injuries through the year, get to the finals with a fit squad, and you will have your winner.
