Surely he must be interested in winning something somewhere??
There is still plenty of time for him to be signed up at Easts for next season.

Obviously he isn't considered to be a good enough option at RB. They were very reluctant to give him any game time in the position.

People seem to forget that only a few months ago Hayne was a 1000/1 to shot to make the practice squad. He didn't. He made the team. He was thrust into the big leagues with virtually no experience in one of the most unforgiving sports in the world. He should have been on a practice squad for a year to learn his trade out of the spotlight. He has that chance now and he will only get better. Another 10+ games and an off season and he will be starting next year.

Wasting his time. Wasting his talent.
He'll fumble around from team to team. And if he's lucky he might make it as a bit part punt returner.
So instead of being Jarryd Hayne in the NRL he's choosing to be the Nathan Stapleton of the NFL.
Well played, well played. I'm sure it's all part of God's plan, though.

What has he wasted?
He lost the passion to play rugby league. Unlike Folau and KHunt, he didn't prostitute himself to the highest bidder of any sport that would take him. Money was not a factor for him.
He had a passion to one day play NFL and he achieved it. I think some had an expectation that he would dominate like he did in league and because he hasn't it is a waste.
The fact that he is playing in one of the bottom teams has not helped his cause. But his dream is still alive. Maybe that is all God has planned for him and he is grateful for that. I doubt he has prayed for God to make him an all time great running back.
Twelve months ago he took a punt with nothing to lose and the majority in Australia said he would never make it in any team's final 53. Then they all jumped on the bandwagon when he made it into the squad and starred in the trials. Now it has been a waste of time.
I'd love to be able to go to an NFL game let alone run out with a team and have american supporters wear my jersey.
The guy is a freak athlete and I doubt anyone in the NRL could achieve what he has and actually run out for an NFL team.
I hope his dream continues.

I think it's more frustration at the waste of talent than tall poppy syndrome.
