I'd cut Jennings before Fergo. Save a lot more money too.

You sound like a used car salesman lol.

The Roosters have spent near enough to 4 years bringing Mitchell through the ranks as opposed to Nikorima who got a cheque. If the Roosters rush his progression from here not only is it a waste of 4 years but also leaves us without a recognised fullback in the interim and nobody coming through that can play fb.

People can talk about Hayne or anyone else for that matter but the fact is there are no fb available right now and there are none on the horizon other than Mitchell.

With all the Hype etc if he was to succeed in NFL he needed to be 24 years old , he left it a bit late - he got his thrills welcome to the Chooks ..You just have to hope that no one picks him up on the waiver if not he will probably be guaranteed to come back - besides he told some one yesterday that if no 49ers then back to league.

The 49's are a basket case. Hayne's probably better off at another franchise.

                  Chook.

hardly surprising he was cut, was a great effort to play in regular season games but unfortunately he basically fumbled his chances away.

hopefully he isn't stubborn and sits and rots on a practice squad somewhere for the next 18 months with hopes of getting another shot.

It's quite amazing that you drop the ball a couple of times over a few games and you are done. Talk about pressure.

Thankfully that rule was never in place here. Half the teams' rosters would be empty.

They just seemed to stuff him around so much - play here, play there, play over there, etc. How do you get any continuity or rhythm?

The little I know about NFL is that the only specialist position is the kicker. And even then there are two of them.
