I never said that we wouldn't get the Friday night game.

I think Ch9 will continue to make the most sensible commercial decision they can which for a lot of the time means picking games the Broncos are involved in. That's just a reality.

My only inference was that it wasn't a conspiracy theory because it's not, a conspiracy is a secret plan intended to cause harm which isn't the intentions of Ch9 at all, they're just making the most logical business decision which they have.

Had we played the Sharks I think Fletch probably would've been right, we would've played on the Saturday night and in a sense been shafted because first place should get every advantage but a poorly negotiated TV deal sees Ch9 with all the power.

That it wasn't because everyone is against us (conspiracy) it's that because Ch9 love Brisbane (which is fair enough given how much money they make them. so what is the point of finishing as high up on the ladder as possible, whoever finishes top should play Friday night regardless, it allows for the most recovery time for the rest of the final series.

if we get moved to either Saturday night/sunday and the worst happens and we lose, we then have a shorter turnaround for week 2 of the finals and actually lose any advantage of finishing top of the ladder.
