By right, Minor premiers should be given every advantage available and that means playing on the Friday night so we have more recovery time for the next game...of course there are no rights for clubs in this comp unlike other leagues around the world. The only rights are for the Nine network and without a doubt they will prefer the Broncos v cowgirls for Friday night...of course I could always be wrong.

Assume we'll know MRC charges tomorrow?
it is what it is I guess, just hope the scheduling doesn't come back to bite us should we lose next weekend and are forced into a short turnaround.

Who cares. Will win when ever or who ever we play.
Personally, and i'm sure many others, would prefer Saturday night as it saves all the rushing around after work and Saturday night will probably draw a bigger crowd.
This has to be one of the "better" conspiracy theories.
How to beat the 'foul play' and 'thuggery'?
...among other things.

We reveal how the first week of NRL finals is likely to look...
Cronulla is likely to be granted its wish and play the Sydney Roosters next Saturday night if it nails down fourth spot with a win over Manly on Sunday.
The Sharks were concerned they would be handed the Friday night time slot if they finish fourth, meaning they would face a five-day turnaround compared to the Roosters' seven.
The NRL will confirm its week one finals schedule on Sunday night but it appears the all-Queensland shoot-out between Brisbane and North Queensland will kick the finals series off on Friday night.
In a bid to avoid a direct showdown with the AFL's second elimination final between Western Bulldogs-Adelaide at the MCG, the NRL is likely to schedule Melbourne-St George Illawarra in the early Saturday timeslot.
The all-Sydney blockbuster between Canterbury and South Sydney would then round off week one at ANZ Stadium on Sunday.
Venues and the order of games are, of course, subject to change after the NRL consults with broadcast partner Channel 9 on Sunday night following the end of the regular season (kick-off times for each finals match are as stated below).
