Television games against weak opposition

I was at the game. The crowd came back into it and the referee rode us. But until our COACH and on-field LEADERSHIP learn more about consolidation when we have a lead we're stuffed against the big teams .. even a 30 point lead has almost proven to not be enough.

i thought our performance was very good. like last week the back end of the game our experienced showed i.e maloney.
interestingly some may agree here or disagree i have come to the conclusion that when we dominate so early in a game once our subs/ replacements come on the tide changes. most of our subs have limited 1st grade and not only have to adjust with their defence but also mentally due to being on the field at the time of being hammered by the refs who are so lenient with our opposition. to get one penalty for a back chat was diabolical. a weird game today lots of different combos yet we still won and it being all the more special due to it being a away game and other results this weekend which worked in our favour.

No Gus and no Rabs today. It was the substance abuse twins and some guy called Mat Thompson who was a little too into it. It's no fun when they're into it. I want to hear screams of terror not of delight.

It was a welcome relief not to be subjected to the Rabs and Gus show. They would have been unbearable when the Knoughts came back in the second half.

I'd like to point out that kurt gidley uttered a loud "EFF OFF" today in the vicinity of a referee after a decision didn't go his way but naturally he wasn't sin-binned like JWH - no surprise there of course and just like there was no surprise that jeremy smith wasn't sin-binned for his deliberate trip on RTS whilst in an offside position.

Good win by the Roosters today but it should have been better than it turned out.

Had to laugh, I think it was Joey Johns said that where I wish we had a 7sec delay after Gidley mouthed the F word.After watching what happened I hope Gidley goes back and watches the replay, I cant understand how he could have blamed the ref with what happened there.

That's what I thought too Milanja...but pretty sure it was Jimmy who he was swearing at as he checked Gidley on the run through.

Ah ok, I thought he was directing it at the ref for pulling up the play and giving the penalty.
