  • Sonny Bill

What do you guys think about Sonny Bill?

Would you want him in our club?

  • #2
If his heart and head are in it I'd have him in a second.

He's a genuine superstar who can win a game all by himself.
Loved by few, hated by many, respected by all.

Yes, but he's as big as Jonah Lomu in NZ now so there's little chance of him leaving Rugby

A $1.8 mill a season offer to return to French Rugby suggests you are correct.

If he wants to return to league, without a doubt. A superstar

That said, given the money available to him in NZ and France, can't see that happening

              Another walking Headline?

Who are we kidding JT? Who in the club is whispering Sonny Bill?

7 years ago...yes. Now? Well firstly he'd have to give up boxing.

Then he'd have to change manager and drop Mundine's acquaintance.

Seriously, who is entertaining this thought because it stinks of Mason 4 years too late as well. We got Willie, when he was spent. Now we are going after a spent force in Sonny Bill?

This is why Nick cant close the deal and win comps.

Yeah I agree with Melon on this one. Williams is very Mason-like with "potential" being the only thing bigger than his ego. He'd be a huge risk on massive coin.

                Chook.

Why wouldn't he do the same too us?

I don't think he is past his best he is still a star but I hope we have learned our lesson.

These blokes are just not worth the trouble.

**** no. I have no problem signing talented idiots (Carney), but I draw the line at talented, disloyal lowlife ****wit mates of Mundine.

He was barely an adult back then and was easily influenced by bad people.

I'm sure he has grown up plenty since then.

I would take him for sure in 2013.

I would prefer SBW running on the left edge to Anasta!
