My question for the refs is why have they now chose to ignore players chasing a kick being run off the ball. A few years back it was clamped down, but now the players chasing a bomb are blatantly bumped out of the way by a defender who deliberately runs off his line to do so.
Really nullifies Toops aerial ability !

We bombed a few certain tries. Also a couple of silly kicks when thru the hands we probably score.
Our handling was shit. Meant we had to tackle all day and were unable to build any momentum.
Most worrying was that inability to get into a grind with a dirty shitty low team who has nothing to lose.
You let us play footy and we will win every week. But if you drag us into a shitfight we lack the ability to execute and cope more often than not.
Boys gotta man up and learn to win in every situation.
Early season there is time.

Also your saying cummins is biased against us, well we hear that every week from all the refs that officiate our matches. We blew more tries in one match and more knock ons than we do in half a season today, let's look at why we couldn't complete these before blaming others factors. We stuffed it up and that's all it was.Last edited by ROC181; 04-06-2015, 03:17 AM.

When a team can't play to their potential in days gone by it would be a coaching problem. Seems our team has been unable to play a near 80 minute effort for some time. The talk of the historical bias since 1996 thru the lead up to the Sharks game helped the enemy that being the NRL and NRL refs to not make it so blatantly obvious by giving the Sharks penalties but countered it by allowing them to stand offside all game hence our forwards who play so shallow had no room to move.i will go back to my original comment about a team not performing to its potential which is the responsibility of the coach, coaching methods and game plans. I was at the game yesterday and the raiders game - we looked so unconvincing for a team with so much potential and were a complete rabble yesterday.Last edited by bondi paul; 04-06-2015, 10:10 AM.

The Roosters, bar a few, were pathetic yesterday. This game was like arguing with an idiot - they drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
I kept waiting for the Roosters to wake up and if I didn't know better I'd say the Roosters players thought they'd win just by being on the field, with no effort required. A pathetic disgraceful effort that reminded me of 2009."The price of freedom is eternal vigilance."

A pathetic disgraceful effort that reminded me of 2009.) at games when we were supposed to have thrashed them. I also remember many times over the last few years, even with different coaches, when we come across teams that, like the Sharks, haven't won a game or are going thru bad slumps and we're their lucky team who gives them that boost by giving them the 2 points with little effort. It's an endemic problem with this club that Im used to it like being used to expect something dumb from SKD as well as a brilliant moment from the backpacker.
I don't gave the answer and never will but I wonder if Robbo was clever enough to give them a plan B or C knowing how much of a thorn this club has been to us?
So, how many more daytime games do we still have this season? Seems we can't take the heat. 0 from 2Last edited by ROC181; 04-06-2015, 12:18 PM.

We just weren't up to our normal standard last night. I do feel though, that the ref did seem to let them lie on us but was expecting our guys to get up very quickly when we made a tackle. The thing that shiit me the most last night was our line speed, we were letting them run 8 meters before we were meeting them. They were getting up the field so easily.

In fact there was plenty of effort there yesterday.
The Tardpoles had enough ball to win 3 games but the effort we put into defending was amazing.
In the end our execution was poor. Bombing tries and dropping ball.
Poor defence is a sign of lack of effort.
Poor execution can often be a sign of too much effort, more often its a sign of fatigue.
Hard to have the right gameplan to beat an inconsistent side like the Tardpoles.
And their handling, late in that game theyd made 3 errors from 37 sets. That's amazing and its exactly what they did to us last year.
They know what beats us. Slow us down, drag us into a shitfight, niggle, laydown, get in our faces and HOLD THE BALL.
They know what will frustrate us and cause us to lose our way in a game.
