  • Was that Easts' Grand Final?

The emotion. Completely spent. A Roller Coaster that dived down the steepest hill to the Gates Of Hades, and then rebounded through the heavens to the stars.

Such energy spent. Such adrenaline comsumed.

Can these boys even get close to 60% of that emotional energy required to get therough the next game?

Was this our Grand Final? Are we gone? Or is this just the start of something special.

One at a time Easts. One at a time....keep going boys.

Bullshit. This will just harden them up.

It's the soft wins like St George got that are the problem.

If it was any other coach, I'd say we're doneskis but this is Brian Smith. He wants that Goddamned trophy like it was the last drop of blood and he was close to exsanguination. Even if players die, he wants it.

So, we're not done. We're just beginning.

Penrith need to be put out of their misery, I am worried about how we will go being red hot favourites for this match....that's usually when we **** it up deluxe.

                  It could of been.

I think our best footy is good enough to win this thing. But I don't think we have put together a good 80 minute effort since Parra.

Was it their GF or was it their game against the Kniggets (from 2002) ?

More Tigers grand final than ours. Tigers are screwed with key injuries and mental trauma.

I'm the not so proud owner of an English Lit degree (unused as of this year, from 1993) and am prone to a little hyperbole.

                        Exsanguination comes from:

                        ex·san·gui·nate
                           /ɛksˈsæŋgwəˌneɪt/ Show Spelled [eks-sang-gwuh-neyt] Show IPA verb, -nat·ed, -nat·ing.
                        –verb (used with object)
                        1.
to drain of blood; make bloodless.
                        –verb (used without object)
                        2.
                        to bleed to death.

                        Origin:
1790–1800; < LL exsanguinātus bloodless, deprived of blood (ptp. of exsanguināre ), equiv. to L ex- ex-1 + sanguin- (s. of sanguis blood; see sanguine) + -ātus -ate

I am, to all intents and purposes, a bit of a smartarse.

Sheesh ...it was tough enough going through that match as a semi, imagine sitting through that if it were the big one !

I would have ended up at Rosies...or is making obvious cracks unwelcome?
