for a player that was fresh on the field when others had been out there flogging themselves for 65 minutes he should have put in a better effort, on the balance of the trials and form in the NYC so far Leilua has showed plenty of potential.
fair points, and I've heard the good reports as to how Leulia's been going.

But I saw one run Takarangi made on Sunday, where he put on a nice right foot step just before the line

Made me think "Hmmm, who's this guy?"

Paea & Ryles are playing OK, but the rest of the starting 13 are playing bloody unreal!

The Aubo brothers are killing it, SKD & Graham were pretty solid last week, Myles is becoming a machine, Pearce & Carneys combination is lethal.. blah blah, you get the idea.

get stuffd champ, koups has been solid and the guy's got playmaking ability.

Jones will drop off the bench again. It's going to be another hot day on Sunday. And after backing up from last weeks match, we will need as many forwards on the bench as possible!

simmmo, you may disagree with my opinion on Kouparitsas, but is it necessary to tell me to get stuffed?

The good news is the Bronco's will have a 4 day preparation too.

I think there is merit in having Benny out there in the heat, running around the big blokes. He has a lot more stamina and isn't gun shy in defence.

                Food for thought.

I would be happy to give Takarangi another go, could have been a bit nervous.
Ryles definitely should start from the bench.

After last year, I refuse to be confident before any match. Hopefully Sunday isn't too hot, i think that was part of the points leak. I also think the Dogs will be hard to beat. I don't want to jinx us so I refuse to make a prediction haha.

This will be our toughest game so far, on a man to man basis theres not much in it, we have superior halves, and the X factor Carney, but they have the advantage of two extra days preparation, and not having had to play in Sundays steam bath. The dogs will be desperate to win, and it will come down to our defence, we need to stop their go forward, and we need to have a great kicking game to maintain good field position.

If our guys are drained from last week, then its gonna be a hard one, I think we can win, but it will be close.

Yes but they won't be coming off playing 2 games in 30+ degree heat

Not sure where to play him though. And if you take a look at the Dogs team, they have named 2 halves (Green and Barba) on the bench. So they won't be trying to beat us through the forwards

Umm with two little guys on the bench that (through the forwards) is exactly where they will target us and Ryles in particular.

Moore knows he can't match it with us out wide so they will come at us thorugh the middle. And they will bomb Carney like he lives in Iraq!

                            Chook.

Sorry, what I meant was they aren't going to try and beat us through their forwards

I think that is exactly where they will try to play us, up the middle. Ennis plays 80, Green will come on as a second hooker. Barba will be on a roving commision.

I want Benny to come into the game as a 2nd hooker and share the role with Aubs in attack (chime in with DH runs). They both have solid defence so we won't be losing much in terms of workrate.
