doggies shouldve beaten an on-fire knights in rnd 1, and were without there best player in rnd 2 against the competition favourites. There not realy going as bad as people think. Very tough game for us with Ennis back and them not wanting to lose 3 straight.

I'd say look out for Ennis to have a big game, if we can shut him down I reckon we'll win, Dogs have looked very sluggish in the opening rounds!

the two most important people for the roosters this week in preperation for the bulldogs are likely to be Ciriaco Mescia and Damien Austin, the extreme heat during yesterdays game will have taken a massive toll on the team, most of this week will be required to rehydrate and rehabilitate the damage done from yesterdays game against the tigers.

it wouldn't surprise to see both the roosters and tigers put in a flat performance this weekend.

Like Chris I am still gun shy from last season. However, I am loving our style of play and the come back we had from being down 12-0 is slowly curing me.

Yes good post.I fear that as well. At last we have the whole week to recover. On the Tigers though I think they play Parramatta next weekend who also played in the heat. So both those sides are in the same boat.

Their forward pack stinks. Stagg is the only glue that is holding it together. They got Yileen Gordon playing second row - that's a sign that not all the stocks are full.

Kimmorley can't do much without space and Roberts goes missing for the duration of the game.

J Morris is a great player - a lot of pace. With Goodwin outside him with more pace.

Idris is dangerous close in but has poor handling. His defence is woeful.

I think we got them covered easily. Just have to keep playing the same style of football instead of getting drawn into a slugging match.

Agreed. Early forecasts predict another really hot day on Sunday. Up to 33 degrees

Ennis is a whinging cat, look for him to get smashed by Conn, over and over again.

I wouldn't be getting too carried away with bagging the dogs

they'll be desperate and there'll have been stacks of work during the week to shore up the idris side of the field

                        Ennis back?

they'll be hard to beat, as is everyone nowadays

looks like the roosters chances of making it 3 in a row have been boosted by the unavailability of 3 of the dogs forwards for this weeks match

                          - Gary Warburton (suspension)
                          - Michael Hodgson (knee injury)
                          - Micky Paea (knee injury)

I deadset feel left out after not being able to attend yesterday's game so next week I will be there with bells on. BELLS.

I think this one will be tough but honestly, I predicted the Dogs to be hungry and pick up a win against the Dragons so I think I should just quit having opinions.

Ordinarily, I would agree with you but Brad Morrin is due to be named in the side, with Paea, Hodgson, Warburton and possibly Gordon injured or suspended. The man bleeds blue and white but we're in deep shit if he's our saviour.

(yes ... yes ... he will add extra bite to the pack ... sigh)

Mate, if you guys are paying $2.05 then I would be on that.

That's a shame. I prefer opposition teams being at full strength.

Nevertheless, I am certain this will be a tough game and the Roosters will need to improve over the way they finished the game vs the tigpies.
