Possibly Johnny....I don't know Danish but I take your word he is/was reasonable. It is possible personal experience of a loved one....and Blake could be a trigger for him. If so I too don't blame him for venting then.

Hmmm...I find it a bit disturbing that Danish or any other Easts member can't express serious reservations about Ferguson's signing, without having their personal "motives" reflected upon.

I would be far more concerned with the derogatory campaigns waged by individuals against loyal servants of the club with no criminal records (e.g. mini, finchy etc.)

I am not a fan of the Ferguson signing at all. The guy has a bucket load of talent, just like Todd Carney. He can do amazing things on the football field. The guy had a very hard upbringing and I get that. He deserves a second chance and I get that too. As a female I feel what he did in that night club was wrong on so many levels. But what the vermin player did (and what Barba allegedly did) was much worse. My concern with Flake is the potential for another Carney debacle, with the club's reputatiion dragged through the mud yet again. It will be a very big test for Trent. I hope Ferguson has strong support around him. It's easy to stay out of the headlines when you're not in the team. That will change when the season kicks off (assuming his cotract is registered) and the media will hound him night and day for a story to sell their papers.

Expressimg reservations is not the same as saying you would cheer if they broke their leg. Having said that, I have no problem with her saying it.

The other was based on performance - not off field issues. Off field Mini has always been a shining example of how a player should behave. Finch, well....
