I don't agree that SKD was "brilliant" or "outstanding" this year.
It was merely an improvement of the rubbish he was dishing up previously.
His "good" games this year were mostly when he was on the wing. He has lost his spark completely in the centres.
As for his defence, it has taken 7 years for him to defend like a first grade centre. Not sure if this warrants the fat contract he is on.Born and bred in the eastern suburbs.

FPN is being shopped around cause he's shit, we tried last season as well.

Whether or not this fellow's barbecuing sauce is on the money or not is another thing completely. It is understood that eventually we will have to lose some of our older players to other clubs. It is inevitable. SKD, FPN and Maloney have been a bit up and down in recent times and are getting older. It makes sense to lose them and in turn be able to keep our future spine of Friend, Pearce, RTS as well as a few of our forwards like Guerra, napa,Moa, JWH and Cordner. It will be hard to keep jenko also. Over 500k for an outside back leaves us with some problems in trying to keep our core group together.
Manly have done something similar and began dismantling some of their older players in order to keep DCE, Foran and a few others around. Glenn Stewart , Watmough and King are all out. It wouldn't suprise me if Snake got given the flick also, Hiku looks more than capable and Gutherson is a good player.Comment of the year:

I think we should all accept that the 2015 season will be the last time we see the Roosters have the best squad in the league for a while. The club did a good job to build a squad that won a premiership, two minor premierships and a WCC. However with that success comes an ultimately rougher period in terms of player rosters due to the NRL stupidly not having rewards in place for developing youth/reserve graders into representative stars. I guess its all about having an even competition, but then again the officiating pretty much dimishes that concept. However thats another story and comes 2016 and beyond I'm thinking we will see a squad of:
1. RTS (hopefully long-term and doesn't go back to Union)
2. Tupou/Burgess
3. Jennings (could keeping him be a problem? hopefully he has too much respect for the Roosters to chase a major offer from someone like Raiders or Sharks)
4. Ferguson
5. McDonald
6. Hastings
7. Pearce
8. JWH (same deal as RTS)
9. Friend
10. Moa
11. Cordner
12. Aubo
13. Guerra
14. Liu
15. Napa
16. Evans
17. Meehan
Reserves
Pappali, Leuluai, MLK, Mitchell and other juniors that come along
Potentials
Merrin, Taumalolo, SBW (2017) and which ever other high profile player we are linked too.
That is still a very decent squad and with Robbo at the helm we are virtually guaranteed to be competitive for a long time. The future is bright

He has a huge workrate and can easily play 60 minutes per match at least
And he has been here since he was 16. He loves the club and has exceeded our expectations and wouldn't be out of place one day captaining our club. Getting rid of him now would be catastrophic. It would be like chopping down a tree, just before it starts bearing fruit.Comment of the year:
