RUMOUR: SKD and FPN to tigers

Had mail today that both signed with tigers. Anyone confirm? Thought skd would be a prime recruit target for parra to replace hoppa replacing hayne. So wouldn't surprise me if this is true.

Aubo isn't going anywhere. And would be the highest loss of the lot. He's a great club man who will fill a role anywhere. He doesn't choose to play in the centres. I'd have him in the second row or on the bench any day. I'd hold skd over tupou and if tupous contract is over the 250k mark I'd be playing nene and putting that money into a forward.

If Aubo ever left I'd cry for many a day. I dread the day he retires.

Seriously though, Toops's contract will be well over 250k. A player of his calibre could probably get 500k from a team like the Raiders. He's a test and origin winger now, so that'll drive his price up too.

And as much as I love SKD, I'd take Toops over him, he's just too good. Paying Tupou around what SKD's on would be pretty fair. With the other wing spot open for Macdonald, Milne, Mitchell, Burgess or Taylor.

It's just a cap thing with SKD, Bwian gave him the huge $450k/season deal and there's no way he's getting that again from us whilst I suspect he can get that elsewhere so good luck to him.

FPN is being shopped around cause he's shit, we tried last season as well.

This might be completely facile but Don Bradman's son had no cricket acumen (barring school level) and became an accountant.

I highly doubt the club would be insane enough to offload Jimmy. But then I've been watching this club for over 30 years and I have seen some dumb, dumb stuff emanate from it.

To say Hastings is highly rated at the club would be an understatement. Both Robbo and O'Sullivan see him, Pearce and Friend as our future. Only time will tell if their confidence in him has been misplaced or not. Either way, I highly doubt Maloney will be at the club next year.

My opinion: I think Robbo and O'Sullivan are right. Hastings will turn out a better player then Pearce and will take his place alongside his old man in the pages of Roosters history books. He is a good goalkicker to boot.
