Unfortunately with Toops & RTS, we don't have genuine speedster, that will score a 100 metre try, but was surprised none of our players loomed up in support in case he never made the distance, just the same. Don't forget he is recently back from a lengthy injury as well, and is probably still a couple of games away from full fitness, but Johnson is a flyer for sure, and will run most players down in the comp, so nothing to be ashamed about.

Yes. Round 2 at Eden Park. Though Johnson is super quick, Pearce was able to stay with him the whole 80m, forcing SJ to score in the corner. From the wide angle he misses the conversion. That's two points that Pearce saved.

And we ended up winning by 2 points

Jennings is a flyer and has scored some great long distance try's if it was him instead of toops I think he would have scored. It would have taken longer to run him down imo.

Speaking of one trick wingers I got to talk to Lee Oudenryn the other day...random.
It's scientifically impossible for Easts to be in Souths' shadow when there's daylight between them and us.
              Easts to win

no shame being run down by Johnson - he is very quick but Toops should have backed himself and just ran straight and not looking backward. As been mentioned here he did the right thing and not panic and we scored on the next play

Don't forget that Johnson also ran down Jennings last year in NZ with ease. Johnson's a freak

Unfortunately, I don't think anyone would've scored that one in our team with SJ chasing. Regardless, glad Toops took the tackle. It gave us the try

Honestly what were Parramatta thinking when they signed him from us?. As for Lee at least he made some small impression on league. Not in the Martin offiah way $$$$$$ though
