James Roberts is the quickest in the comp. He's run sub-11 second 100m in his teens. Korabete (i took a punt) I believe is also in the sub-11 club.

The rest have shown some toe here and there in game situations, but those 2 are proven legit flyers

I think Toops thought he was odds on to slow and fend Johnson off to make a bird of it....but as KL said the hold and play the ball without trying a miracle play was quality.

1.Toups didn't pin his ears back
          2. Johnson would catch most players

2nd game back from extended layoff from back injury could have something to do with it as well, agree with most Johnson is quick though.

This may sound crazy when we consider what he is achieved but I don't think Toups has a lot of confidence in his game and he definitely doesn't realise how good he could be.

I thought jennings wasn't rite that night last year since it was the same week as one of the origin games.

very impressive from Johnson considering he came form an almost standing start 10m headstart and was checked by Maloney in his chase

Toops had to jump, break tackles & run hard, he was looking early for support & being the wise head on young shoulders took the tackle knowing his mates would finish.

Toops has matured & the finishing school that is origin is the best qualification ever.
Unlike getting run down by Satler...

I get the same feeling watching him, like he doesn't believe he's good enough to be included in the teams he's in. Hopefully Trent can get that confidence to surface and when he does, he'll be one of the best.

                        Chook.

I get the same impression regarding his confidence, but I do think it has come a long way. If he gets any better, look out!

I think pearce could be our quickest. From memory, last year he made a very impressive chase on Johnson last year. I think Johnson still scored but was making ground on him. Johnson would have been slowed down by being the ball carrier, but impressive either way...

You also lose speed without a free swing of the arms.

That's why Mini is still quick with the ball in hand. He uses that trick where you tuck it between your hand and wrist so it's kind of jammed in so he can use his arms more.

                                I'd agree with that.

How many times have you sat back down to have a celebratory swig of your beverage after Pearce has burst onto an offload because you know he won't go close to getting caught?

I'd say Jennings over the first 40 and Pearce 60+...
