The source that told me about the current "troubles" is exactly the same source that told me Sam Perrett had a major falling out with Brian Smith, and would stand up and walk out on the club within weeks, a couple of years back.
I posted that on the Chook Pen at the time and was roundly criticized for it, yet it proved to be true.
My source is a good one."Be good enough to forgive people but don't be stupid enough to trust them again."

Some people on here were actually disappointed we won the comp I think. They didn't know how to handle it or be happy. The funniest post was the guy who went into panic mode in November about the Round One clash with Souths for this year. Hollus gave him a good telling off and rightly so..! Some people are just not happy unless they are miserable..Ironically as I type this, My Happiness by Powderfinger just came up on my itunes...

Gus Gould to run Easts in 2014
The sad part is people actually believe you, fair play though you got them at their most vulnerable after a loss.
Time to change your sauce of choice mate.
It is true that senior people at Easts considered enticing either Gus or Ricky back to the club in recent years. With Stuart, I'm glad it didn't happen, through I'd have Gus back in an instant in some capacity.
More pertinently mate, many many many of the news I have had mail on have been correct over the years from my sources Rooster_6. Others can vouch for that... Over the years my sources informed me of such reliable mail as:
- Nick Politis to take over Easts from Ron Jones (in fact relatives of mine helped make it happen)
- Gus and Freddy to join Easts amidst the Super League war
- Mark Murray to be sacked mid-season in 1994
- Ricky Stuart to Easts in the first instance in late 2001
- Bennett to Easts (didn't happen in the end but good mail)
- Smith to coach Easts, which I was informed about months in advance
- and many, many more...
My sources aren't wrong too often. By the way, I'm only the messenger.

I think, if you objectively look at the way the team has played especially in recent weeks, you would have to say that the combination between Pearce and Maloney is nothing like what it was in 2012. The look of 'Rugby League enjoyment' also seems to have disappeared from the faces of these players in critical positions on the park...
Tonight was a game that could sum up our entire season so far. Dominant forward pack doing all the hard yards. Brilliant outside backs at the ready to do brilliant things and score points. Halves not creating opportunities and not stepping up ruthlessly and decisively at the right juncture...
I hope the story about the flow-on effects of the "big night out" are wrong. But the source from which I heard this is pretty reliable and isn't wrong often. This poses a real challenge for all those involved, especially the coach, who is aware of the issues and is attempting to fix them...
Isn't it pretty obvious Baloney would be pearcedorf at Pearceorf? Wouldn't you if you were in his position?
The question is whether it will affect their working relationship....Baloney was pretty off his game BEFORE the yellow girl incident. In fact, he was improving quite a bit the last few weeks AFTER he was dropped from Origin. Last night was an aberation from the previous 4 weeks where he played real strong.

Maloney has a right to be pissed off with the little rooter.Hes cost him 100k in lost match payments for starters add the lost NSW number 6 jumper to that and you very well might have one unhappy camper. If this is true and robbo cant sort it out the solution is very simple one of them has to move on.
