The source that told me about the current "troubles" is exactly the same source that told me Sam Perrett had a major falling out with Brian Smith, and would stand up and walk out on the club within weeks, a couple of years back.
I posted that on the Chook Pen at the time and was roundly criticized for it, yet it proved to be true.
My source is a good one.

But look at the games we lost to the big teams this year. The first game against Manly was a farce, round 1 against Souffs was the bunnies gf, and tonight's game was arguably our best game of the year. However, its true that Maloney didn't have the world's best game, and that kick error from Pearce was crucial.
But if they were that bad, it wouldn't matter who we played. There are no easy games this year

ngI respect all our moderators here. Past present and even future. Always have done and always will do a wonderful job.

Maloney said it himself, "it wasn't Jnr's fault I missed origin, if I was playing well enough I would have been picked regardless"
the rumours of a rift are garbage.
that being said I would be doing everything in our power to lure DCE here in 2016.

I feel that it is important to acknowledge that the forwards, and to some extent the outside backs, kept us in the contest for much of the game.
But it is equally important to realize that if the Roosters are serious about winning back-to-back premierships, then they cannot do so with just forwards and outside backs in good form and with their heads screwed on.
In my humble and relatively worthless opinion, and this is backed up by the scuttlebutt, the halves do not have their heads screwed on and are not in great form.
Even in the games we have won over the last two months, neither Pearce nor Maloney have stood up and produced top form. If they had, we would have won a number of games by 60 points and our for and against would be unrivalled on the ladder...
There is clearly something wrong and it is clouding the form of the halves! If people can't see that, they are not looking closely enough.
I personally think there is time to get it right... But not too much time...

If we lose the last two games this season, which are against Souffs and Storm, then we just have to accept we aren't what we were last year. But I'm prepared to leave the jury open, considering the first two losses were very early after a disrupted pre-season, and we played decent tonight
