The AFL did it & I think that it was disrespectful that NZ didn't have their anthem sung. I'm not a Kiwi but just think that with so many Kiwi's playing in Australia it would have been a more respectful move.

I thought the whole pre-game experience has been deteriorating for a number of years now.
This year was definitely the most uninspiring though.
It's our turn next year and I really hope we step it up.
Helicopter, Jets, both national anthems, a few Kiwi soldiers, a few kiwi flags, fireworks etc etc. Going to the Anzac day clash is about more than just the footy but I think the clubs are starting to take the crowds for granted.

I love it that the fuzzy wuzzy angels get recognition during proceedings. Very disappointing the kiwis weren't recognised through anthems or otherwise. Must be strange for a kiwi in such circumstances - standing there listening to the Aussie anthem to celebrate ANZAC day. I guess there is no obligation, but it would show respect, goodwill and mateship on a day where these words are spoken so often.

Quite simply, if it wasn't for the diggers very few (if any) of us would be here today."Do you expect me to talk"? "No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to die".
