Do you think Robbo will chance it and bring Moga in? Or will he push Aubo to centre and have a bench of Napa, Lui, FPN and Evans? (Mortimer replacing BBQ until his healed up)

I don't think Robbo is the kind of coach to chance it... and Aubo has proven his defensive effectiveness in the centre... but he lacks the attacking spark that Moga would bring and that Jennings already brings to the role. I think Aubo is a short term bandaid solution and if Jennings is out for longer than 4 weeks, we need someone like Moga or maybe, in a pinch, Langi and take over that attacking role.

I personally think Aubo will be there as we are a defensive minded team - but would like to see Moga come in and see what he can do and maybe stick Aubo outside him for that defensive toughness.

Thoughts? Opinions? What would you like to see happen to side, should Jennings be out for a short stint.

Maubs will be first choice with Taane Milne likely 2nd choice, Moga just needs time at newtown without the first grade spotlight to get his confidence back.

He plays on Jennings' side of the field, so he must be considered if his performances have been good...

Don't know how good Taane will go as I havent seen him play TBH - how is he going at the moment?

Agreed - i think he will be the choice. But what are your thoughts on his attacking ability? He doesn't really add the same spark in the centre position, in the back row he is similar to Guerra in the lines he runs but Centre is a different ball game.

Moga's defence against the Sharks was awful, let in two really soft tries.

He's a long way off First Grade atm.

Whilst I'm a big fan of his ability after being so long out of the game it's going to take him a while to settle back in.

Aubbo has never defended well when picked in the centres. He's a brilliant defender when defending at second row but has made some poor reads in the past at centre. He'll definitely get picked in place of Jennings if he doesn't get back in time. But I think Milne would do a good job although he's a much better right centre with his right arm offload being a feature of his play. He's the best defensive centre in the 20s, has great tackling technique. And is a real weapon in attack. Considering he was close to selection for the WCC he might be on the radar. But in saying all that Aubbo deserves the spot as he's been excellent all year. Moga is nowhere near first grade at this stage unfortunately, unless it's on the wing which I suppose is an option - Mini, Tupou, RTS, SKD, Moga. Still wouldn't be a smart option.
