Having just re-read this ... lol @ also calling me fairweather. We can't all be as good as you oh holier than thou one.

Ive spent mmost of my life following the Roosters through thick and thin ... spending thousands travelling across the country to four GFs and a prelim. Not to mention memberships and merchandise.

And I'll be a member until a die.

But because I call them pathetic every now and then during a telecast I'm all of a sudden a fairweather fan?

i was pointing out the SKD moment.. not a rooster fair weather fan but more towards your thoughts of SKD, one moment telling him to **** off then the next praising his effort. that is what i meant.

Tommy is great value in the match day threads, it's a real good laugh at some of the stuff he posts.
Better then all the usual suspects hanging out and waiting for the minis,SKDs and juniors to have a bad game so they can lay the boot in.

Not that he doesn't deserve praise. He had a great game no doubt about it.

If I posted every time something pissed me off during a game, I'd miss half of it. When I'm not there of course....

Had to laugh last week at The Cooler aka Bongdi Boy....he wrote about 20 posts while the game was on, and then claimed to have been at the game - classic stuff.

I fail to see how it's too different to chatting to a mate about a decision at the game.

We get on because we love discussing the team and the game we support.

If your opinions are swayed by the fact that you have to 'support the team' then you are no better.

I fail to see what comments were nasty. And there is nothing smart about those phones at all. They do nothing but encourage people to have poor social skills and manners. Personally, when I'm at the game, I like to watch it uninterrupted by a piece of electronica stuck to my hand beeping at me. I like to actually speak to the people I'm attending the game with, look them in the eye, not my hand constantly, treat them with respect and live in the moment. But I guess that makes me old fashioned...

I wasn't serious with the nasty comment.

I would do the same if I was at the game. I never touch my phone at the footy.

But if I'm at home watching the game alone as a was last night up here in QLD, I tend to message a fair bit in the game day thread on here.
