You prefer to get stuck into other supporters don the safety of the keyboard. Classic Internet hero.
Your a classic. So one person has meltdown and others express their opinion? And which ever one aligns with your opinion is the one expressing opinion whilst the other is a holier than thou supporter attacking others... Then you throw in the keyboard hero line. Lol

Well if you can quote me on calling any of our players 'Scum' then I stand corrected.

I might call someone hopeless for making a simple error during a game in the heat of the moment ... but that's entirely different to constantly referring to them as Scum and making a concerted two year effort to not support them.

If you think they're one and the same then that's your call.

You certainly seem to suggest so which I find extremely interesting as Robbo said that beating the sharks was vital. I'm sure according to you though madrooter, you of course would know better than Robbo wouldn't you?
Why do people take as gospel what Robbo, players or management say in a press conference? It's usually polite stuff that's said. Whats more important its what we don't hear.

Thats a good post SJ, but they do make alot of money for doing their job, and the fans pay alot of money to watch them do their job, whether that be through memberships, merchandise or foxtel.

Its similar to when people bag the politicians, they are paid to do a job for us, but they cop plenty of abuse and critique also. I don't see many people jumping to their aid though.

I come from an English football fan history where we sing, chant, applaud and yes even rip into our team every now and then ... but it stems from our passion. We'd do that from the Kop whilst the more enlightened fans sit in general admission not making a murmur, all the while claiming to be a better fan.

You support the team the way you like and I'll do the same. Cheers and Happy Easter.
So is Trent Robinson a boring man because he speaks in measure tones, calmly, intellectually and respectfully? Or I guess you would prefer a coach who punches walls, throws chairs and pops veins in press conferences.

I know what type of man I'd be preferred to be married to...

I'm pretty sure I called both teams a bunch of retards for the dumb, mistake-filled crap they were dishing up. Weren't you the same person who called someone else a retard on this very forum the other day? Hypocrite.

Trent Robinson is the coach. I'm a fan.

                      Just a minor contextual difference.

Taking quotes out of context seems to be the theme of this thread, so I'm just pointing out you're a hypocrite.

I think it's more civil when we lose. Probably because we're gutted after a loss.

So you couldn't find where I 'supposedly' called someone a retard? Deal in facts when your ready.

You just don't get it do you? Players performances deserve to be fair game on a clubs forum. Players who consistently perform poorly in the eyes of a supporter such as SKD who between 2011 and 2013 deserved to have his performances critiqued and position or future questioned. I have no issue with that being debated.

However you and a few others turn that into a discussion about supporters who criticize players into whether they are true supporters or not rather than debate the merits of an argument. Additionally you and these others then tell people how they should react in certain situations.

It just seems a lack of mental capacity to understand that people are different and react to situations in different ways. I love Tommy Smiths passion and whilst he appears a negative Nancy, it is just his way of coping by fearing the worst. How people cannot accept this rather than bashing him makes me really wonder. People devoting threads to it blows my mind.

Off topic, Fair play btw to SKD who was fantastic on Saturday night and he deserves all the plaudits that go his way btw and I would rather he keep it up and get a Wing spot next year and Moga can come good and play Centre than sign a muppet like Fergo. However it does not hide the fact that he was a serial under performer for a long period of time but has shown real improvement by cutting out his sideways running crap and using his shoulder in defense.
                                ...
