Bellamy`s salary cap woes would make that rumour total crap.I`m sure he would have kept Dallas Johnson if he had a spare $400k in his cap bank...

It may only cost them $50K, as we will be picking up the other $350K for 2010....

I know, but giving Mason away whilst paying him his back ended deal would be the height of Stupidness. At least send him to Newtown for the year just to piss Tommy Raudonikis off...

apparently the Roosters are willing to pay him $100K to add to what ever he can get

That offer was to go overseas, not for him to go to another NRL Club.If he was to go to another NRL club, his current contract amount plus that $100k would all be included in OUR salary cap for next season. We would also have to actually pay the shortfall in any other NRL contract he would hypothetically get, which would be more than 100k with his back-ended deal with us...

With Ryles on board potentially we have a really damaging pack. Are Melon and I the only ones who want Mason to stay? If Smith gets the best out of him it could be sensational.

Count me in.Smith has got him doubting his worth now and Mason`s ego will be boiling over to prove him wrong.Give him one more year to prove his value to overseas clubs then spend his money this time next year on a quality centre...

Keeping him for another year just gives him more time to influence those who would be led either completely or partially, so no thanks.

I don't think BS will tolerate any bs.

I hope you're right RC but I'd rather not take the chance with BWM. Mr Smith's control extends only so far.

I doubt Willie is leading the way on the path to destruction much these days,as he has just become engaged and she has moved in with him.His fun days on the town are over,as she is the one with the gun in my avatar...
