Do not believe any reports that it was discussed after the crocs presentation that the crocs would be asking BSmith to keep Mason, just so NC would keep sponsoring

Never fear KB, the Crocs will have NC's sponsorship for 2010. Even if I return to the Roosters as a season ticket holder, I don't plan on doing the corporate events so that money will cover my sponsorship of the Crocs.

So it could turn out to be win-win for everyone.

You are a married man now JT and your dancing duties are to your better half - so consider yourself safe, from me at least.

keep the mason bashing going... I love how everyone reacts to a statement from a guy who later confirms he did not actually hear mason say anything... he heard it from someone else!

a mates mate told me so it must be true. mason is the devil.

But even if he did - I simply don't see the humour in it.

The way he acted he was not happy at all to be stuck with the things. And I am not surprised - I think it was something like an AFL Jersey, a Roosters jersey. and some other piece of garbage.

If it wasn't for The Brain's mate Harry the night would have been a disaster because Mason almost got Fitzy's 250th game jersey. He managed to outbid him (I think $6K) and then presented it to Fitzy's parents saying it cannot leave the family.
JT, all this talk of framed Jerseys and nostalgic dinners. Its time for a return of the infamous photo with Melon, Brain, Adrian Morley, Big Dog, Willie Wonka and The Fan!!!

I keep losing the ****ing thing!!!

If he didn't pay as our report suggested then thers is no humour in it IMO..

Which was why I added "If that was indeed what happened"..
lighten the hell up guys, if you cant all see the humour in bidding for something and then pretending that you dont have to actually hand over the money then you are all far more bitter and twisted than i've been giving you credit for. its dry its sarcastic and its tongue in cheek.

the report you speak of above PtB, where exactly did that come from? where is this report or is this just another anti-willie post with no fact?

there are some turds in our society who do bid and buy at auction but then actually refuse to pay.

wouldnt surprise me if mason fits into that category of turd.
                      based on what?

from now on i think maybe a directive needs to be forwarded to mase than he cannot say anything sarcastically, anything light heartedly, within a shadow of a doubt that may upset the precious roosters fans. take a good hard look at yourselves, this is just one guy that plays for a football club that 99.9% of you don't even know and yet can sit here and judge.

would love to live your perfect humour free lives.

Fancy the telegrapth missing this story. After all, they did have a swipe at him over another ficticious indiscretion that night.
Maybe their imaginations are waning or they are protecting him...

[QUOTE=novice chook;31705]I believe that Brian Smith will tell Pearce in no uncertain terms what is expected from him, both on and off the field. Whether the Wanka is at the Club or not.

And if he stuffs up off the field, and is caught out, the new 'code of conduct' the players have to abide by will take care of the rest.

He's living on the edge and has been for a while. If he doesn't pull his head in, sooner or later he'll slip over the other side and have to suffer the consequences.

If that means he's no longer part of the Club, so be it. If doesn't want to live by the new Rooster rules, then he has no future at the Roosters. It's that simple.

he already has.To quote him"All I see on your CV,is that you were halfback in a team that got the wooden spoon......"

Come on you gotta give the kid his one Origin apearance on his CV. It may be the only one he ever gets, don't deny him that!

But if it's true I'm glad someone is finally telling the wonderkid a few home truths. It's not his fault, but he's had a dream ride so far, far too easy for his own good.
