He said that they would find something for him to do in the club when he comes back.
I then spoke to someone who is very much involved in the management and recruitment and he said that there is a possibility of bringing him back for one year after he is finished (but I think he was just getting carried away and emotional on the night).
By the way, Mason showed up walking in like he owned the place.
He had little Mitchell Pearce in tow (which shattered me).
Mason then proceeded to take over the whole evening.
He was bidding on all the auction items for charity and ended up winning a couple of them.
When the girls came to get his credit card details he said, "**** off! I'm not paying for them".
I am not sure if he was trying to be funny or he was serious.
I am going to find out if he did pay for the items he won (and we are talking a few thousand dollars).
If he didn't it speaks volumes for his character.
Can you?

For me, it would leave Anasta and Carney in the halves..

Hugely overrated thus far, but as someone else suggested, he deserves the opportunity to play in a properly structured side. He'll get that opportunity next year.
Time to stop reading the papers Mitch, and step up

And if he stuffs up off the field, and is caught out, the new 'code of conduct' the players have to abide by will take care of the rest.
He's living on the edge and has been for a while. If he doesn't pull his head in, sooner or later he'll slip over the other side and have to suffer the consequences.
If that means he's no longer part of the Club, so be it. If doesn't want to live by the new Rooster rules, then he has no future at the Roosters. It's that simple.
