When will people ever learn? A team of champions will never make a champion team. Surely, by now, we all recognise that that old adage is true? Ferguson might well be "better" than SKD, but it's the whole that counts, not the individual components.
Blake Ferguson's presence would not strengthen the Roosters, and there's a good chance he would weaken them.

I think we well and truly put that theory to bed this year.
He frustrates me at times, but he is a Rooster to the bone..
Just like most of us..
His comedic style of play brings me many hours of joy..
He may go full retard at times, but he is OUR full retard..
Go Easts..
2013 NRL Champeens..
Next year will be SKD's 8th year of first grade, meaning we will get a $200k exemption for him in 2015. Good business.
Pearce and Aubs will be playing there 8th as well.

There's a point, makes good business sense

Smith seems willing to move the goal posts
NRL needs to keep up with it's competitors

I'm sure that SKD and Maubs are already eligible for the long service allowance next year as they first played grade for Newtown in 2006. Pearce may also be eligible but I think he is a definite in 2015. That's what the delay is with Mini as it is only $200K in total. It may go up slightly next year.

I'm pretty sure that you're correct in that there is only $200k of long service allowance per team. I'm about to check that now though.
