When you watch the bits of him at centre, he played just his first season in this position and I think six games there last year.

And just where is he going to play? SKD now a club legend gone, or is it Michael Jennings the unlucky one. Our two young whingers were the highlight of the league and were twice the side with mini at fullback calling the shots. And what about the salary cap? Ferguson might not be a bad player but I think we would stand a much better chance of going back to back without hin!

Well SBW's trouble were 5/6 years ago and he proved his professionalism in rugby in which many of us, myself included, welcomed SBW. The problem with Flake is that his troubles are still fresh on most peoples mind. He doesn't show any remorse, as far as I've seen. Maybe he'll get his life together in a year or so.

I certainly wouldn't say that Robbo had complete faith in him, as he did let him down on many occasions throughout the year! Robbo didn't have much of a choice either with Moga out injured all year and Oldfield injured through parts of the year. You aren't exactly going to have a $350k player running around in reserve grade.

I agree with you, I will also go with the Robbo's judgment as he has just won a premiership. You have to also take into account that Robbo may not be able to get what he wants. SKD is contracted to us next year and maybe no one else wants him, and I get a strong feeling that clubs aren't exactly lining up to grab him. Maybe Fergo will get an offer too good to refuse from another club.

I would be shocked if Robbo given the chance can get Fergo and offload SKD, wouldn't go ahead and do it.

I don't think SKD would be as hard up as you make out. He was the 2010 centre of the year, a premiership winner, and often our leading try scorer, hopefully the faith Robbo has showed in him might get him back to that level.

Hey there guys. i hope Elroy news Re: Blake Ferguson is correct. Ferguson 2me is a superstar in the making.( GI like comparison ) Sure his head space needs to B addressed. But 1s he becomes fully aware how 2 combine arrogance with humility he will B a great asset 2 Red White Blue Army. Here @ the Roosters Ferguson will have resources in the way of SBW, Trent Robinson by which 2achieve this. The rest(off field manner) is in the hands of Blake him self.
R culture/influence the mannerism of other big name stars & the way they carry themselves in the public can only aid & reinforce his ideas. As 4 SKD. Good guys don't win u games. Over price 4 his worth. He has been the weakest link in uR back line both in attract & defence. He is prone 1-2 handling errors a game. Plus extremely poor read in counting numbers of opposition attack(specially close 2 try line). Mini should call it a day & give the next-Gen a go. 4me-RTS, Tupou, Jennings, Ferguson, Moga/Rubben.
Think Nappa could lean a lot from SBW by copying (run/off load) plays. Evans can become another Hargreaves & Lui follow Moa's running style. I have a big rap on Samisoni Langi. This kid should get a go in the halves @ some stage 2015. He could take over as the utility on R bench.
