Souths are gearing up to release crocker, king and lowe on top of asotasi and tyrell as part of push for Folau. Ferguson is now another option and I have been informed by a good source that Ferguson is keen to play at souths.

Ferguson is a dead set freak on the footy field, probably only surpassed for natural skills by only 2 or 3... but is also a dickhead once he gets on the grog. However, I'd give him a go ONLY if Sonny is here next year to mentor him and we can offload a few players to stay under the cap. That can only occur if the Roosters know what Sonny's true intentions are (I suspect they do know ).

If that is the case, I don't think we would make a play for Ferguson until after the GF or if we are eliminated earlier (due to what I think Sonny's intentions are). If he signs with $ouffs or Sharks,or someone else before then tough luck.

It was mentioned earlier on this thread, Rothfield may be cooking up trouble to get him back to the Gummies.
If Sonny is not here next year to give Blake tutelage, I'd rather us go after Folaou.

I really do hope so Chook!....but if he goes back to the Chiefs if we win the Premiership this year, I think the Roosters management and most Roosters fans will give that move their blessing.
