  • Blake to roosters 2014?

He wants a release to Sydney to continue his religious studies & guidance under uncle Choc

Its likely 2 clubs will have first choice Us or Souths

Given SBW & Choc work their faith together, there's a chance Sonny could reccomend the roosters if Souths have spent their cap

The only way we would have room to move under the cap for the sort of money Ferguson will want, is if SBW does leave at the end of the year.
Ferguson would bring a lot of baggage to whatever club he goes to ?

Not if it was a direct swap for SKD, which was mentioned in another thread. I hope he doesn't come here he's a dick.

We seem to have a pretty good 'no dickheads' policy going at the moment, and look where it's got us.

Why risk upsetting the status quo by trying to sign an absolute twat like him?

He might be a good player, but so was Carney, and look how that ended up.

Every player in this current team has been a dickhead at one stage of his life/career. Even the golden child in the no.7 .

If fergo can play for us the same way he did against us on Saturday, then i would be very happy to have him here. He is solid in attack and defense, and really is one of those freaks of nature.

500K would be a cheap price if that is what he is asking. We wouldn't loose too many players in return either. Probably SKD and Bosden/Oldfield gone would be close to enough to be able to sign him.

              Imagine a Fergo/Jenko centre pairing.

Not at any price for me, thanks.

And you're half right...he IS a freak. But not in a good way.

It's only 6 weeks since he was charged with indecent assault FFS......

                    This. Right here.

Laying some Latin on you: In Vino Veritas.

That essentially means alcohol shows true character. People in the know call it the remover.

The remover of inhibitions, the remover of rational behavior and the remover of guilt, remorse and shame.

Blake Ferguson is a bad drunk. I think he may even be an alcoholic, given his inability to abstain from drinking when he was announced in the Blues side.

Really you're comparing Ferguson incidents to Pearce? The idiot had just been suspended for drinking whilst injured, got back to the team, made origin and not even lasting one day in second game in camp he got himself in trouble again, costing both nsw and the raiders.

The club has moved away from that rubbish, lets not go there again.

A centre pairing of Jennings and Ferguson would be our most potent since the Brass/Harris era.

If he has truly changed since being mentored by Anthony Mundine, then it would definitely be worth the gamble. Or we could sign nice blokes like Anasta.

I wasn't comparing incidents. I was more saying that every player in our team has had moments they would want to forget, but since moving on and acknowledging their problems, have moved on to bigger and better things. MJ was no stranger to policemen in his youth days, but he has quoted that since then, rl changed his life for the better.
