Depth, can never have too much.
Can't see Arona, Bosden, And probably Guerra featuring too much next year. Add to that the possibility of no FPN. With the impending debut of Evans along with Nappa, does MK fit in the coaches plan. Then there is still the very real prospect of no Sonny Bill next year. TR and POS building a very formidable squad

      Interesting

According to Brian Smith, Napa made his debut in front of Evans because he has the lower wage of the two and as such would keep us closer to our second tier cap. This was requested by Ian Shubert.

Is he related to former roosters backrower/legend Adam Schubert???
          Comment of the year:

In all reality wouldn't it be reasonable to think Evans and Napalm will take time to develop further mate???

We will have injuries and rep players and suspensions still next season.

Imagine Castro, Napalm and Evans as our front row rotation. I know the kiddies will have stiffys but the reality of the situation is they would most probably get a good seeing too, way too inexpienced.

Look at the Tigpies as a good example. Some real good kids coming thru up front but zero experience since Kieffy went down. And that's how they are playing, inconsistently.

IMO up front is one spot in the game where experience and age are a real benefit.

Don't get me wrong Napalm and Evans will feature I'm sure, they look like great prospects, but to discard pLOD, FPN, MLK, Arona, Bosden, Guerra and $BW would severely dent our depth.

              The FlogPen .

              You know it makes sense.

Jack I saw him play us in his first ever season at the sfs. It may have been his debut. I remember he smashed our whole pack to pieces.

Actually Evans is the lower income earner than Snapper. Evans sign before the cba went up & Snap signed up after the cba went up.

I don't think so. That is what everyone said about Moa before he arrived, now he's a must-have in the 17. Casty is rated as a significantly better prop than Moa was in the ESL. There is just no way Robbo would bring a high-profile (in the ESL) player like Casty across to spend most of his time at Newtown, when we have plenty of "depth" forwards in the young guns coming through.

Prepare yourself to be pleasantly surprised.
