Whilst Leilua was terminated he still received his monthly check in the period leading up to his termination and any funds he received from November 1 last year must be counted. If that sum is greater than the salary of the 25th highest paid player then it goes in the first tier and the 25th paid player goes into the 2nd tier and if the sum is less than the 25th highest paid player it goes into the second tier.

Even though Penrith is paying part of Jennings' salary our contribution is still substantial and he'd be top tier. Any payments to Masoe from us must still be counted in cap. The fact that Penrith is paying part of Jennings and we are paying part of Masoe is irrelevant - the amounts are relevant but their position in the cap is based on what we pay them.

I'm heading out to Parkes this weekend for the Jets vs Windsor game and if Kane is plyaing I'll have a chat (and probably a beer) with him at the Leagues club after the game. He is very much loved at the club and if Nick wants him and Robbo thinks he has the right attitude, he wont be going anywhere.

I apologize for my error that was merely an assumption and not based on factual evidence.

Perhaps with a few players possibly leaving we can promote Evans and Napa and get them firing for years to come.

I remember thinking hmm that seemed strange maybe there is something to this rumour, I hope not as I want him to stay.
And this is exactly the reason clubs have no loyatly to players and just treat them like 'cattle'...buy and sell them without any emotion at the 'saleyard'.

Players show no loyalty to the club or clubs show no loyalty to the players ...guess it's the chicken or the egg ?

                    Correct...a business.

Can't see Evans playing FG at Souths...he'd be crazy to leave the Roosters.

Obviously clubs are throwing money at him... we probably just have to match it and we are sweet ...but wait weve got Sonny Bill on 10 mill a year?
Sonny has a bad knee and chest/shoulder.
He'll likely be gone at the end of this season or next.
We should be finding ways to keep Evans, Napa and our other young players identified as our future stars.
What about a free home unit each...third party sponsorship.

Kane Evans wants to join the Dragons so he can be coached by Steve Price. He feels he can take his game to the next level under Steve Price. Kane always admired how Steve Price played when he was at the Dogs & over at the Warriors.
