Lol, I have a bad feeling about the chosen one this Wednesday. I hope that if they loose it doesn't fcuk up the team chemistry here at our club. The last time we had two halves picked in origin was in 2006. The famous Anasta-Finch combo. Lasted two games, one longer than I thought it would tbh.
    Comment of the year:

Andrew Johns, Semi-Final vs North Queensland ,

My son spoke with Kane after the match on Saturday & asked him about Re; South. Kane said I have no idea who started that & his
parents told him about the rumour, as he does not have twitter, fb or read any of the forums. He was dumbfounded, Evans said
he would like to be a 'one club man' with the club who gave him a start...Roosters.....my opinion for Evans & Napa not playing 1st grade might be due to
        2nd tier contract.

Yeah but what would Kane know. I'm going to trust the knowledge of a LOL@souffs inbred fan spreading rumors instead.

Kane Evans is contracted as one of our top 25 players according to the Sydney Roosters website as is Dylan Napa. He would not count for the second tier salary cap then?

Correct so the only reason Evans hasn't had a look in Is Robbo sees areas of improvement in his game. On that note, he wouldn't be the first young bloke to become impatient.
Even if it was started by some toothless, inbred, dole bludging carnt of a bunnies supporter, you can't tell me Evans hasn't at least thought about leaving

JWH, Moa, MK, Tasi, Evans, Napa, Liu, Tago.
You would think something's gotta give over the next couple of years.
I believe Tasi is the only one not signed for 2014. I read that he is close to signing. I hope so.

Where does it say that? There are 32 players in the player profiles.

You are correct Big Eyes - they would be both earning below the salary of our 25th highest earning player and would therefore would be 2nd tier players. You also need to remember that Tom Symonds and Anthony Cherrington, although playing elsewhere would have to be part of our top tier cap this year, which forces two other players into the second tier. Like most clubs, a couple of our NYC players would also be in the top tier to ensure we don't exceed the 250k NYC cap. Finally, payments to Mose Masoe (we would be paying a fair bit of his Penrith salary), and Brad Takarangi & Joey Leilua (payments from November 1 up until they left us) would also be in our second tier. Given the second tier cap is ridiculously low at $375,000 you can probably work out why Evans and Napa haven't played first grade this year, given Arona and Isaac Lui have already played before them. I think one of them (probably Napa) would have played before Tasi had we had the room in our second tier cap. You can of course get special permission from the NRL to play them if a number of first tier players in the same position as them are unavailable. However, given the number of tight forwards in our top tier cap, plus Arona and Lui that have already played this year, we would need a lot more unavailable than we have now for permission to be granted.

Daniel Tupou would be another player from our second tier cap that we have used this year. If you remember he was signed to a 2 year deal for 2012/3 when he was an unwanted NYC player at Parramatta, so he wouldn't be on Top 25 money. His new contract for 2014/5 would presumably be far more lucrative.

                              Didn't we terminate BJ's contract?
That wouldn't count anymore would it. I think that's how it works but not 100% sure
