Watching Norths on TV and Tom Burgess is a machine, he is huge and is a clone of his brother. Souths have Luke, George and Tom, plus Tyrell, where would they fit Kane, absolute greed, Gordon Gecco is back.

They way I see it, from hearing Taylor speak last year,

The thing about Napa and Evans is that they were coached by Jason Taylor last year.
He knows them inside out, he understands their assets and their deficiencies.

They are not ready for NRL yet and are being developed to get them to the right standard before
Taylor knows their defense is not ready yet, I think they will get there but rightly so are not being rushed into the top grade.

Yep, those Burgess Brothers have vast quantities of human growth hormone surging through their bloodstreams. Must be in their genes.

Yet Kane tore Tom Burgess and his mates a new one last weekend. Once he gets that little bit of sloppiness out of his defence which is certainly improving he will play first grade. But it's not as though he's the only bloke in that Newtown forward pack doing well. Today he, Napa, Ailaomai and Houma were all massive. Liu played nonstop the last 60 mins of the game and was strong as well. Mortimer started well but got lost a couple of times close to the line. He kicked reasonably well, a couple of loose passes. Defended very well.

It really doesn't matter what the coach believes are the reasons for a player to be kept in reserve grade. They could be very valid reasons. What matters here is what the player thinks, if a young player believes he has a better chance of playing first grade elsewhere then imo he will take it. And in young Evans case they will be lining up to offer him just that.

if any one deserves a run in the top grade its Nafe he has so much forward attack ..nippy little shit.

I like Liu as a lock, potentially he could take on FPN's role if he does indeed move on next year imo.

The Pearce rumour was more then that, if Smith wasent sacked, he'd be playing for them now.'Take that as set in stone.

What matter most is whether they are ready or not.
There have been several players that have jumped the gun, as this rumour infers, that have killed their careers. Their self belief exceeded their ability at the time.

Hows that for you dribblers, 2 football posts (at least and now bagging)

probably more "not real" than "unreal"
