    • Reminds me a bit of when we got Craig Wing.

You'd find somewhere to play him.

      • The only reason I would want him here is to show other clubs we get who want, when we want and no other club should be able to match...but seriously, Cooper is playing crap. Being good for the reds doesn't mean he'll be good for us in 26+ rounds.

Someone already mentioned/eluded to why he took the laptops, and that was three or four years ago. Am sure they (team/coach) didn't appreciate it, nor the ARU but as far as stupid 21 yr old actions go (considering circumstances) it's hardly bashing his mrs, doing drugs, sleeping with team mates mrs etc etc.

If this club sees it this as good business, they've seriously lost the plot. Imagine who we could get for $1.2M......Barba and Graham? Luke and Burgess? Smith and Widdop? Hayne and Paulo? Marshall and Lawrence?

Why we'd spend a cent on either Money Bill or consider Cooper is beyond me.
            ?

SBW was practically the best forward in the game when he left. Forwards usually improve over time. I know for a fact he has.

Stealing is as bad as that unless your under 10 or so because you don't know what's right or wrong. Not sure how you can excuse a 21yo from doing that. I know if I knew someone who got done for stealing, I'd be very weary of that person.

Stealing is wrong I agree, and I am not excusing it for the record. There's big difference between repeat offenders and some who stole something because of stuff that was/he thought was on that laptop. Desperate people do desperate things. Has there been a string of thefts reported at the reds or during world cup/bedisloe camps etc? Compared to Carney he's a saint.

Not sure...maybe no one left anything unattended while he was around.

They are union players. Let's not give them too much credit.

It's Richard Villasanti all over again!

                      • He can't tackle and has major off field issues, if we sign him we will be the laughing stock of the NRL this time next year, go with the young talent and let the new young coach start with a clean slate and no baggage.

You've seen him play exactly how many games of league recently? Is he worth more than any other player in the comp based on current form?

LOLOLOL. Your saying we dont want inconsistent salary cap sponges and these are the players you mention. 3 of some of the most overated players in league bar Paulo who wouldnt crack our side.

Even Mini is more consistent than Hayne and better under the high ball, JT, J.Reynolds, Maloney, Widdop, Foran, Sutton have all become better than Marshall, Lawrence???? Had potetnial next year will be apart of the wooden spoon team and Paulo AVERAGE.

I dont agree on Cooper either I dont want him weve already got halves and fullback spots covered but when you say something please dont contradict yourself it looks silly. You talk about overated and inconsistent players and mention Marshall, Hayne and Lawrence lololololololololol

I've read some of your posts before mate, and they're different to say the least. This one nearly made me fall off my chair......

Mini is more consistent than Hayne? Really? Consistently crapper maybe...

John Sutton better than Marshall. One of your finest, that one. John Sutton isn't better than anyone, my dog included.

The point is was making, was rather than spend all that money on 2 blokes who MIGHT make the grade, why don't we spend it on tried and trusted league players. You don't rate Benji Marshall, that's fine....but personally I don't think Quade Cooper is good enough to carry Marshall's bag.

Agree. SBW is not your typical union turned league man. He is a league turned union turned league man...with a sprinkle of boxing and cubicle gymnastics.
