Like I said, Conn is a stopgap signing until Cordner is ready, I believe.

Cordner is signed until 2012, and Conn is signed until 2011. I believe midway through 2011, Cordner should begin to be giving sporadic opportunities, and then when Conn's contract is finished at the end of 2011, we should extend Boyd's contract and watch him flourish into one of the best backrowers in the NRL.

I have serious faith in that kid. I have seen some young talent come and go, but he is something else. He DOMINATED games in a competition where he is the youngest player. And not just in the backs, it was in the forward pack. I do think that Isaac Maliota, Ethan Lowe and Dane Cordner are all solid too, but Boyd, as I said, just has something, that special something.

On a side note, Williamson had a blinder last week. Now has 7 tries, and 7 linebreaks in 7 games. Just needs to up his workrate and find some pace again IMO.

I agree completely about Cordner. Although since his return from a broken jaw, he hasn't been dominating as he previously did but he is pretty solid for a 17 year old kid. He does have THAT something special, as Freddy and Fitzy said in an article earlier in the year in the Daily Telegraph.

Williamson is slowly creeping into some form and hopefully can improve even more on it. NYC have their backs against the wall against league leaders Manly tomorrow, but have been told will be boosted by the early return of Fine Moeakiola on the bench. Sam Brunton is out injured I believe and Tim Burrell is debuting for our NYC. Burrell came across from the Bulldogs SG Ball side midway through the season. I wonder if Joseph Leilua will get a run anytime soon? Heard Wayne Bennett was upset when he found out Leilua was leaving the club.
