Not too many players want to train in the conditions of Townsville,which is why the cowgirls find recruitment so difficult and most quality players rejecting their approaches.

who's the last major signing you guys made? thurston? sure looks like everyone wants to go there .you offered winterstein and linnett silly money given their experience and ability which is the only reasons they left their respective clubs. Tate is a washed up old man much like johnson. all the others were decent kids (sims, tamou) that you also threw way too much money at that only an idiot would reject the offer. doesnt look like the place to be to me

Johnson was in his twighlight years when he left for the ESL. Im not saying that he hasnt done a decent job but hardly a sign of being able to attract 'star talent'

Someone obviously missed how well Tate performed in origin this year and has been since joining the cowboys. Warriors were desperate to keep him and I believe the Broncos were interested at first but don't know how far they went in negotiations.

Well he (Johnson) has the representitive experience as well as finals. He has provided alot of experience and grit in defence up the middle.

Both have been key signings for the overall improvement in the cowboys over the last 2 seasons. No coincedence that we are going to play finals footy in both years.

Lol. Cordner wasnt bought. He is a Roosters junior. RTS was cheap as chips. He came here becuase he wanted the quickest opportunity possible to play for a pro competition. We got him cheap and remember we bought him as a schoolboy last year. Moga also a bred Roosters junio. JWH was playing NSW Cup. Tasi was a NYC player for Manly. Both were bought cheap. None were paid overs but re-siging some of these players were expensive if thats what your trying to say.

We did however pay overs on Frank Paul-Nuuasaala and Justin Carney. Carney leaves next year and FPN hopefully gets released along with Symonds whos rotting in NSW Cup along with Mose

The tables will turn. If I was a player id want to live in Sydney, play outside SBW and Maloney and go to the place where alot of money is. Thats here at the Roosters. Somehow we have shitloads of $$$$$$$$$$$ even though we dont ave ticket sales, merchandise sales or Tv coverage its all thanks to dictator Politis and the businessman who run our club. The criteria I have listed doesnt associate with the Cowboys so your points are invalid.

Furthermore your forum actions and comments regarding the Roosters stature does not comply eith the rules and regulations of the firum. Therefore I advise you to not speak of any if the Roosters puchases of the past few years and to not do any comparisons with any of the co-existing NRL teams in the competition. I don't see any offense in your statements but if you show any disatisfaction with the Roosters club please transfer and make an account in the Cowboys Stampede a suitable forum for Cowboys spoting allegiances.
