Hugo will get really good offers from multiple clubs i reckon he’s gone the 2nd casualty of the pursuit of an ageing halfback past his best days I’m not a fan of this signing

Why are you worried about losing a 23 year old half when there is a 19 year old half coming through who is already better than him?Originally posted by mightyrooster View PostNot happy with this signing but we’ve known it was coming for a while now so I’ve just got to get used it. I hope we don’t lose Hugo.
Where is Hugo going to play if he stays? 14? We already have Watson plus Benaiah for 14.
Benaiah obviously he will move on as well. That’s how NRL life works.

Losing Sandon and Hugo in one window would be an abominable decision by the club.Exonerate the West Memphis Three - www.wm3.org

I know Rodwell has wraps on him but he’s only 19. If either Sammy or DCE get injured or Sam ends up on rep duty is he ready to be thrown in the deep end already? We’ve already lost SS. Hugo is a very handy back up in the mean time and he got a lot of game time and therefore experience this year.Originally posted by The Real King View Post

Seems like a waste of time having an academy.Originally posted by The Real King View Post

That's because they're young developing halves playing in a team that is rebuilding.Originally posted by bondi.boy View Post
But they weren't sensational every day.
We're not winning a comp in the next 2 seasons imo so signing DCE is pointless. This squad is nothing like the one Cronk stepped into!

Why do you think we aren't winning next season? Where are we weak?Originally posted by Bates View Post

5. Mark Nawaqanitawase (Dual International/Winger Of The Year)
6. Sam Walker
7. Daly Cherry-Evans (Former Australia/Origin Player)
8. Whyte (Former New Zealand International)
9. Robson (Origin Player)
10. Collins (Australia/Origin Player)
11. Crichton (Australia/Origin Player)
12. Wong
13. Radley (Premiership Winner/England International)
14. Watson (Origin Player) 15. Leniu (Origin Player) 16. Egan/Nat Butcher 17. Blake Steep

I don't even view him as a weakness but I guess the weakest player would be Billy Smith but he's still perfectly solid and even a standout at times. There is not one position we're weak in, even the bench will have 2 Origin reps on it, almost unheard of.
If we remain injury free I think we win the comp, on paper that side is better than Brisbane and Melbourne.
