Chad was part of a 30 man squad that played finals footy.

No finals footy for DCE and axed by Queensland after he flopped in game 1.

I think Towsend's season in a results driven game was superior to Cherry Flops.

Sure he might be better than Toby Sexton and Lachlan Ilias, but he ain't no Isaiya Katoa who is 2 years younger.
      DCE is a big improvement.
The Half who "failed badly" was Sam Walker running sideways and jamming the outside backs. Should't have been permitted to run that particular show. Too much off the cuff doesn't work with a focused defence. Walker, though a talented player, is no Cleary at leading the team around the park. He might be a better Fullback choice.

Add to that Teddy trying too hard and clogging up the backline plus our backline was so flat all night which limited their time and space and yes it was Savala's fault

My autopsy revealed that Sammy choked and he was potentially playing injured. Robbo failed to adjust the game plan when it was clear as day that Sammy was struggling.

And Hugo is still the culprit?
Savala is an ice man, focused, skilled and seldom rattled. Anyone can see his potential. To suggest that the QF loss was down to him is absurd. The Sharkies forwards gelled about 3 games earlier and probably peaked on the night and with Hynes and Trindall I hoped but didn't really think that we would win. As it turned out the Marky strategy was the only one left, they couldn't go through them. Couldn't hold the ball anyway.

It would be shattering to offload another Ethan Strange.
